"We really enjoyed our stay at Deerhaven. The hosts John and Matt responded right away with any of our concerns or questions and the place was well stocked with towels and supplies we felt right at home. The views were amazing we saw a couple of deer and wild turkeys, squirrels and a turtle come up the mountain in the yard. The bed was very comfy plenty of blankets and pillows. We definitely recommend a stay at Deerhaven we give it 5 Stars. John and Denise"

"We didn't spend a lot of time at the property during our trip. We explored the Shenandoah Valley. Being right on the river was lovely. My husband fished a bit and there was a heron that visited every morning. We used both bedrooms because the bed in the main room was up against the wall and the bed itself was very tall, so I would have woken my husband up when I went to bed. Decent water pressure in the bath and kitchen. Only wish was we would have liked to have a toaster, or maybe a microwave in the unit. Wifi was good. Nice and quiet area. Host was great about communicating."

"Ten stars! Circle F was as described and so much more! It was extremely clean and supplied with everything needed for our stay and more. Sarah and Dale came up on horseback to feed the sheep & even offered to make us a fire in the fire pit, which was encircled by Adirondack chairs for the ultimate view of the Allegheny mountains. It is such a cool place on the top of a mountain! We will definitely go back there!"

"This is truly a lovely house, with beautiful grounds. The renovations were very well done, the kitchen particularly so. Probably the best amenities in a kitchen I've ever enjoyed in a VRBO house (six burner stove plus two ovens -what's not to like). Also some nice touches in the bathrooms for guests. The property maintenance team was responsive to small fixes and repairs. The small barrel grill out back was found useless when we arrived and the back patio picnic table was storm damaged, but within several days we had a new table, and chairs, new umbrella and a first rate grill.The check-in process was a bit onerous, not what I'm used to in a VRBO rental, but in the end, it was all worth it."
