"Get away from it all in a charming tiny home cabin (that doesn’t feel at all tiny). Extremely clean, well appointed, light filled, comfortable cabin - in the woods but not completely isolated. Wildlife sightings, Penrose Point State Park very close. Responsive host. Green all around. Rejuvenating. My cousin visiting from LA, and I from Portland, LOVED our stay! Highly recommend!"

"Our 3rd visit - to relax and enjoy the lake front getaway. How often can you make everybody happy? Smiles from the teenager (Kayak and swim is next, no time to text). Smiles from the wife (read/take in the rays/sun), Smiles from the dog (walks/room to run). Heck even dad was caught smiling (coffee/and a view, eve on the dock w a brew)…."

The towel seat in the master was cracked and broken, hurt to use it. Outside had harbage and broken glass. Only 4 rolls of toliet paper, need more for guessed of 6. "Cute, small footprint cabin directly on the water with a beautiful view of the mountains. We had a relaxing stay and had the beach to ourselves for nearly the whole time we were there. We fed deer by hand, saw a dolphin and some seals from our deck, and found countless treasures on the beach. A few things to note- it is a studio a frame set up- much smaller than we anticipated from the pictures. The main bedroom is really in the living room right behind the front door with no door or privacy...

"This cabin is the perfect getaway for those that enjoy the outdoors, especially at Hood Canal. The cabin is great for fishing, oyster harvesting, and just sitting back to take in the breath taking scenery. It also served as a great base camp for exploring the surrounding area. Hoodsport is 5 mins away and Lake Cushman is only 10-15 mins away. As for the cabin itself, it was so clean and well equipped with everything you need. House is right on the beach, stairs directly in front of the cabin so it makes it easy to walk right down to the beach and grab oyster or let you little ones find treasure’s! We used the fire pit which was great and we roasted s’mores as well! My son found a wine bottle that had floated to shore with a message in it, he couldn’t have been more excited! "A nice quiet place by the water! I was in the area for a rehab seminar by myself and it was a nice quiet place to relax. Easily one of the best places to have a cup of coffee and watch the wildlife on the water! The down the grassy trail to the steps can be a little sketchy in a downpour but it’s otherwise worth it! "

"Really enjoyed our stay on the island. Comfortable place. Liked having a choice of bedrooms (up or downstairs), and having two bathrooms. We made good use of the kayaks everyday, even when it rained one day. It was difficult to find all the kayak choices since many of the marking on the kayaks are wearing off. We also noted that the one garbage can outside was full when we arrived nd we really struggled to put our own trash in it the we left. It seems it should have been empty when we arrived....

"Sweet little house and a smooth process of renting. Great automated communication through Vacasa. House has a happy atmosphere & is well maintained inside and out. Not a ton of cooking supplies so be sure to bring your own if you are making big meals at the house. We were so thankful to have a beautiful and relaxing vacation on the water.
