Our stay was great. The view was fantastic. Accommodations were fine, lacked kitchen towels. Would like to see a table and chairs on front porch to eat on & watch the lake. Very quiet even with neighbors close by. Will definitely go back to this place

Pretty Point is exactly what this location is.
Beautiful sunrises. Surrounded by other neighbors but yet private. Comfortable living setting. Not hard to find.

Amazing views!
We really enjoyed our stay. The sheets in the Queen room were dirty and 4 pillows in the twin bed room had what appeared r to be dog hair on them. But we still had a good time. The view was amazing.

Relaxing Trip at Gathering on the Bend
We spent a relaxing week at this property. The location & views were amazing. This summer's intense heat dome was in full force during our stay, but the house was clean & comfortable, while the a/c was icy cold in response to 100+ degree temperatures! While I spent my time indoors or on the shady back porch, both my husband & 14-year-old grandson tackled fishing & kayaking. We didn't catch any fish but hope to return when the weather is cooler. Jill was a responsive host & answered my questions promptly. She kindly gave us a late checkout. TIPS: Be aware this area is quite remote & the nearest "big" grocery store (Brookshire Brothers) is approximately 20 miles away in Center, TX. I'd recommend bringing food & supplies with you or making a grocery run on your way to the home. If you forget anything, "Trail's End" is a small convenience store just minutes away & their country-style restaurant was very reasonable & good. They even serve made-to-order Hunt's Pizza for a quick snack. If you drive to Center for groceries, be sure to try TCS Bistro for a leisurely lunch or dinner. I wanted to address a previous review stating that the location was a "trailer park setting.” While many nearby homes are "trailers" or mobile homes, we felt very safe & the neighbors were welcoming & friendly. Many of these homes appeared to be "weekend getaways" & were well cared for. You'll see why people love this area out on the bay having a blast - fishing, boating, kayaking & riding jet skis!

Having second thoughts at first
Driving up to the property I was questionable, because things where messy (beyond owners control as that part was not their property). But once you got in the house and on the porch....breathe taking. The house was clean and welcoming. I have a camping kitchen bind I brought not knowing what to expect in the kitchen and only needed a couple of things out of it mostly just trash bags (they only leave 2 and we were there for a week) and ziploc bags. We will Absolutely be going back, Jill was awesome through the whole process.

Was an overall good stay, although a little trouble getting the code to let me in camp. Apparently email containing code didn't get delivered the first time and couple that with the fact i didn't have great cell service while out on the lake didn't help things.....but it all worked out....enjoyed the stay

Amazing Property
My company had some work to complete for the area and we came across this property. This property was exactly like it was described. It was at a perfect area with a great view of the lake. On our down time we got to enjoy the balcony and with a private pier do some fishing. The area was quiet and peaceful. The house had plenty of space and well stock of everything needed to cook. If you need extra items to pass the time . The movie selection was amazing so many to choose from. There was also a great selection to choose from to read. If you are looking for some down time with lake advantages this is the place. Check in was easy and the host was amazing to communicate with. Highly would recommend.

Nice Lakeside Property!
We booked this property as we had an event over at the Marina, we have friends who own property and they had a birthday bash. This was perfect as literally they are just a stone's throw across the lake! Everything was great, it looks like it was recently remodeled. We will certainly book again in the summer when the weather is nicer! Thank You!

Everything went smooth. Parking a boat was real troublesome, but we made it. Shower head in bathroom off of the kitchen needs attention. Great view from the deck.

Beautiful views
This home is fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Plenty of dishes for cooking with a grill outside. There is also a nice fire pit outside to enjoy the beautiful views of Toledo Bend. And speaking of the views, it’s worth waking up early to catch the sunrise over the lake. We will stay again!!

Lovely getaway
We had such a wonderful stay at this property. The views are amazing and the house was perfect. The home was well stocked and very clean. We especially enjoyed the use of the kayaks and sitting out back enjoying the views in the evenings! I would highly recommend this property!!

Perfect View.
Perfect spot to celebrate my 50th Birthday. All I asked for was to watch the sun rise and the sun set and that’s exactly what I got. Beautiful! My husband caught and released several fish right out front while I sat out on the porch and relaxed.

The place was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. The owner was amazing, as I got lost getting there and she was very helpful, even stayed on the phone helping me find the house. The house was very clean and we enjoyed it immensely. The only downside was there was no easy fishing access, except for around large rocks and also trees. We lost numerous baits, lures, etc. if you have a boat, it’s the PERFECT getaway. I had no other complaints.

The property was great. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen of any place I have stayed. The only thing that could make it better would be a boat slip that could handle a larger boat, so we could launch at the marina a park at the property. I enjoyed sitting on the porch relaxing. I will consider returning in the future.

Terrific time at a great place near Huxley Bay on Toledo Bend!!!
Rental site was awesome, large, very clean and on the water!!! Communication with owner was super, a person left a wallet and the owner and staff secured it until they could return!!! There are good honest people in this world and we just met them!!!
