Lovely surroundings and building

Staff were pleasant and friendly. Booked the standard room which was comfortable and clean. Nice bathroom and very comfortable bed. A few minor issues including some mould around the shower and sink plug hole and there was not have much of a view.

Lovely stay

For the same price as a Premier Inn we got to stay in a stately home with a fabulous history and beautiful grounds. Staff were lovely, breakfast was included, room was a good size.

Loverly old building with all the original features. Loverly views. Enjoyed our stay it was nice a quiet. Great breakfast. Large room and comfy. Whats not too like lol we will be back very soon.

Family Celebration

A fantastic stay in a house steeped in history. Loads of character and superb surroundings. Well worth a visit with easy access to nearby Sheffield but also ideal for walking and trekking across the countryside. A lovely all you can eat breakfast topped it off.

We a great stay overnight, large room with large ensuite, at the top of the house. Great for one night but would have been a challenge if we had a weeks supply of luggage! Staff were very friendly. Lovely grounds.

Nice hotel

This is a lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Have eaten here before and food lovely, but the restaurant is not open so it’s served in which ever bar is open. Not quite the same and still restaurant prices. All said it’s nice enough to go back.

This is a great place to stay if you want to give yourself a treat that is outside the norm of hotels. My Mum and I really enjoyed the interesting building, the friendly staff and a great dinner included breakfast. The property is undergoing some upgrades, but nothing noisy or disturbing. The bathroom we had could do with some hooks, towel rails and a shelf (caddy) in the shower - but it was all very modern.

Excellent service, staff are very Helpful. Rroom are luxurious and clean and comfortable. Food is absolutely amazing 👏 compliments to chef, the steak was cooked to perfection. Wifi was intermittent, my mobile date was sufficient. Would highly recommend 👌.
