The historic old building has been beautifully renovated and is a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. We enjoyed the surrounding area, and were able to walk to many restaurants and shops nearby.

Lovely Historic Inn

A lovely historic property! The staff was very accommodating, volunteering to help transport luggage upstairs (no elevator) and showing us all the amenities available.

Beautiful building. Very clean rooms. Spa like feel to the rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The only downside was that they had a live music downstairs in the evening and since our room was at the top of the stairs we could hear it quite a bit in our room. I would definitely stay again but would ask for a room further down the hall.

Beautiful heritage spot. All remote check-in which was convenient but I missed the opportunity to speak to front desk staff. Housekeeper was lovely. Would have loved a fridge in the room but understand the difficulty with heritage properties. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Light sleepers take note

The place was stunning, clean, and inviting. However, the air conditioning made so much noise at uneven intervals that it was impossible to sleep. I wish I could have given a higher review; the experience was excellent otherwise.

We had no hot water during our stay and understood that these things happen. The issue is that we are being doubted and questioned by management after raising the concern and giving them an opportunity to make it right. The initial outage lingered throughout our stay from what seemed to be heavy demand after it was fixed. It was not a good stay and made worse by the hotels response. Asking me to diagnose their water heating system issues to justify my complaint is uncalled for. Full price was paid with the assumption it included hot water during my entire stay.

Unlucky for us that it was lashing rain for our stay over night and unfortunate that while we had hoped to dine in the restaurant, it was booked out for the night for a large business dinner. Had hoped to get a drink in the bar, but we were told we would need to enjoy our drinks upstairs because of the private event. Just a bit awkward
