Couple Time
What a relaxing getaway for us who are busy raising three kids- 21,17 and 14. It’s been well over a decade since we did anything as husband and wife, without the kids. We grew up in Port Washington and savored being on Lake Michigan on two beautiful Spring Days. We took lots of walks and ate take out on the patio. With such views who needs a restaurant?? A total gem of a place, we will be back again. Thank you Mark!!

Stunning views and dog friendly!
100% recommend staying here! The views were incredible! The photos in the listing don’t do it justice! Being able to watch the sunrise and see the full moon over the lake from the balcony was stunning! The large windows and slider doors allow you to view the lake when you’re cooking and eating as well! We also brought our dogs which is something that usually makes it difficult to travel! But they were welcomed and had a blast being with us! Dog gates and sheets to cover the couch were provided which was great! The host replies quick and had personal touches in the home that made you feel connected to them and very much welcomed! Would stay here again in the summer!

Thank-you for your review. We do not have a hot tub, checked the amenity list here on the back end and it is not checked as available. We have not in our 16 years hosting offered a hot tub. I apologize for the confusion.

Spectacular view
Very comfortable and clean house. So wish the weather was better to sit and enjoy the view outdoors. Did get to watch an amazing sunrise from balcony bedroom and kitchen table! Loved the closeness to the downtown area and river boardwalk! Only drawback for us was too many stairs, since my husband uses a walker, but we made it work for us.

Weekend wedding
We were in town for a wedding in Kohler. We actually booked a hotel for Thursday night because the property was not available for our extension. So we enjoyed golf on Friday morning at Riverdale CC—awesome course. The location of the house was perfect! Minutes from the Riverfront. We had a fab dinner at Lino’s & a wonderful lunch at Parker John’s. Both on the water. Breakfast at Field to Fork downtown Sheboygan also great food! Our check in was seamless. The house was clean & comfortable & the view was serene & private. 15 minutes from Kohler. Plenty to do in the area. We enjoyed our weekend at this little getaway home.

Breathtaking!
Overall our stay was wonderful at Lake Shore House. Ideal location to just getaway. Sunrise was breathtaking, view of Lake Michigan was amazing. The homeowner thought of everything. Literally anything you would need for cooking, entertainment, bed linens, or even just sitting outside watching the boats, the birds, the sunrise. Our first visit to Wisconsin and it was one that will be remembered. We will definitely be back!

A Wonderful Getaway
We were so pleased with our stay at the Lake Shore House. The house is very clean and kept up. We had everything we needed! The home has terrific views and is close to the many things to do in the area. Mark was quick to answer any of our questions we had. The back yard is nicely private. We hope to visit again!

Property was just as described in listing. Amazing views, cute patio, comfy bed. Unfortunately it was a cold and rainy so we didn’t spend much time outdoors. Would come back for a summer stay

Best weekend getaway on Lake Michigan
Perfect weekend getaway with my husband and our puppy. This home was so cozy with an amazing location + lake views of the sunsets and sunrises every single day. My wife, puppy, and zi rented this charming home overlooking Lake Michigan and could not have been more pleased with our choice. The location is perfect, overlooking the Lake and within walking distance of beaches, shopping, and restaurants. The home is very clean and comfortable including the Master bedroom and included every convenience of home. The owner, Mark Nash, is a talented artist and several of his works enhance the eclectic vibe of the interior. I loved being able to watch the waves break standing outside on the bluff and from the Master bedroom deck.

Nice Property, Beautiful View
Nicely decorated house with a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. Stayed as the cold weather started in November and caught a couple of beautiful sunrises. Didn't use the backyard due to frigid temperatures, but it would have been nice in the warm weather. Street is fairly quiet and the view of Lake Michigan from the dining room and the master bedroom. Some nice touches, like a pair of binoculars available. Kitchen was very well outfitted.

Cute little house
This was my first experience with renting a house. I am older and have some mobility issues. I had a hard time getting the key out of the lockbox. The steps at the side door going up to the kitchen did not have a handrail. I was confused with some of the lights and outlets. Beautiful view of Lake Michigan it due to the weather I was not able to spend much time outside.

Great setting, beautiful lake views and the house was wonderful for people under the age of 70. For the elderly it can be rather challenging, bedrooms on second floor, bathrooms first floor and basement. Right on,lake Michigan BUT NO BEACH ACCESS.

Lake Shore House has hosted hundreds of guests over the age of 70 since we became hosts in 2007, we have a dozen returning, regular guests over 70 that fully appreciate their repeat, ongoing experience at Lake Shore House. We are one of the few properties that have a dedicated wheelchair ramp. As we can't make guests read our property description and amenities, they clearly state that our property is waterfront (not beachfront). Additionally, the description states clearly what level the bedrooms and bathrooms are located on. As Premier Hosts we like to clarify unsubstantiated guest comments in their reviews, and feel that they need to be publicly addressed, as they are not factual in our experience.

Wonderful home and view
Wonderful recently updated home with a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. Just settle in and relax on the back deck and enjoy. Everything we needed for a great stay was provided including the view from the master bedroom and calming wave sounds from the lake.

The house was clean, and had a beautiful view over the lake - lovely to sit on the patio and just look out. Fairly convenient - only a 10 min drive into town for restaurants, to the grocery store to the state park. There was plenty of space in the house, and it was pretty well equipped.

A spectacular family getaway!
We cannot say enough good things about our end-of-the-week getaway to Mark’s lakefront property in Sheboygan. It was everything I had hoped for our family! Incredible unobstructed view of Lake Michigan from both floors of the house, the deck, and the grassy hillside. Our days were filled with soaking in the view, playing at the amazing beach and playground just north of the property, and exploring the cute town within minutes of the property. Very conveniently located. The house is well decorated with comfortable sleeping for our family of 6. The king bedroom on the second floor offered a full sliding glass door that allowed sun and another marvelous view of the lake each morning. Highly recommend this for families and couples alike!
