The suite includes a beautifully appointed bathroom with marble floors, 6' jetted tub and shower combo. A cozy sitting area adds privacy. Mounted flat screen TV with Dish Satellite viewing. Complimentary high speed WIFI. Pack your stuff and come to the mountains to relax and enjoy.

    The cozy common area, called the Gathering Room, right outside your suite is a great place to relax, play games, etc. This room features a warm gas-log fireplace, two wonderful leather chairs, bistro tables and chairs, refrigerator, microwave, complimentary Keurig coffee, teas and Biscotti. The covered entrance porch has plenty of seating for enjoying the fresh mountain air.

I thought we were getting our own place. It turned out to be a common area with two bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The common area was very clean, and coffee and a light snack were provided. There was also a refrigerator and a sitting area. In the bedroom, water and chocolates were provided. Also, toiletries were in the bathroom. Everything you need was there. It was very clean and comfortable.

This location has two rooms to rent with a shared common area available to both rooms. It is separated from the main house in the back, so you have privacy and you are away from the street. The room we were in had a very comfortable king bed, small refrigerator, and television, with ensuite bath. The common area had a larger fridge, dishes, microwave, coffee maker, and seating both at a small table and with two comfortable chairs with ottomans in front of a little fireplace (which of course, was unnecessary in August). There were drinks in the fridge as well as room for anything else the tenants wanted to put in there. Very nicely decorated and cozy. It would especially ideal if you needed both rooms -- but we were not bothered by our "neighbor" in the other room. The house is only a short way from the main part of town. We were able to walk through the neighborhood for meals in about 20 minutes (walking on the main road would be dangerous with no sidewalks and lots of traffic). The west side of Shaver Lake was easily driveable for hiking (there is a day use fee of $10). Huntington Lake is about 30 minutes farther up the road.

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay at the Loose Goose vacation rental in Shaver Lake. The cabin was quiet, clean, and incredibly relaxing—exactly what we were looking for. We especially appreciated the fully stocked complimentary coffee and tea bar, which was a thoughtful touch and made our mornings even better.The location was perfect—just minutes from the downtown area and very close to a great playground, which was a big plus for our family. The cabin was also well-equipped with books, games, and DVDs for both kids and adults, making it easy to unwind and enjoy our time indoors as well.Overall, it was a cozy and welcoming place to stay, and we would definitely come back again!
