If you're traveling during the winter snow months, 4WD and/or tire chains are encouraged, and may be required by CHP when there's heavy snow. The fourth bedroom with the two single beds is more of a loft space. The stairs by the kitchen will take you up to this loft.
The Neighborhood: Located just a quick drive from restaurants, shops, and the lake, this is a perfect location to relax and unwind. Whether it's a busy summer weekend or a snowy winter day, the Bear Hugs cabin feels calm and relaxing, far enough off the main road for peace and quiet, but close enough to easily locate and not so secluded providing a feeling of safety. Amazing! Beautiful cabin. Perfect for our family. Plenty of space. My only complaint is that there wasn’t enough toilet paper or paper towels. Luckily we brought extra so we were okay.

Bear Hugs A-Frame review
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The stair cases were a little tedious ,
but because we had younger family members we managed. All was well.
The Cobbs
We spent a long weekend in the Bear Hugs cabin enjoying the snow with family and friends. The cabin was clean and as described in the listing, but note that the cabin doesn’t come with wood for the wood-fired stove. The kids most loved the foosball table and the hill behind the house which afforded all-day sledding, snowball fights, and DIY snowboard lessons! We can’t wait for a return visit!!
Ants in the master bath. Mice in the second bathroom eating up the toilet paper.. would’ve liked some cleaning supplies to clean down the counters and dish towels. Had issues with the barbecue trying to ignite and later gave up after multiple attempts. However, we had a great family vacation. Made lots of memories.
