"We actually had a coupe of issues the first night, but the way it was handled impressed me. Immediately moved to a nicer room with a restaurant credit, and apologies. The pool was great during the week, a little crowded on the weekend. Fantastic food and service in the restaurant. We will return. "

Parking is pricey through the hotel but worth it to have the sense of security in a garage compared to an open lot with quick valet service. Spacious double queen room with a working mini fridge and coffee maker."

"Loved our stay at the Menger. It is right across the street from the Alamo and one block from the Riverwalk. The pool is nice. The room was spacious."
