"We had a wonderful stay at No. 29. Our host, Chris, was very welcoming and thoughtful. We loved the personal touches, from the delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake waiting for us on arrival to the cafetière coffee provided in our room. Our room was peaceful, quiet, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a highlight, perfectly cooked with a wide selection, including even more homemade cake and the best homemade bread I’ve ever tasted! Chris is a lovely, friendly host, and we highly recommend...

"Rooms were clean staff excellent just don't eat there, the breakfast was probably worse than you could get from Farmfoods, a lot of it should be banned from human consumption yes the sausages! Then I had something from the Hungry Horse, yes I know it's cheap and get what you pay for (beer £6.75 though) but when I was asked how well done I'd like my mixed grill steak I almost chuckled and was right to do so. Perhaps they should ask how dry would you like it.
To make matters worse, they fcuked up my table number so the cr@p food was cold. I couldn't be bothered with the admin as I paid on company credit card.
B&B £71 you get what you pay for."
"Visited whilst they are under some form of renovation, so lifts weren't working and it was a maze trying to find our rooms as there were no signs up. Lot's of construction mess everywhere.
Breakfast was pretty poor, sausages seemed to have been cooked for 5days as they were tough as anything.
Best thing was the evening meal in the restaurant, very nice food. The staff were all very polite and helpful.
Stayed here as we were visiting the historic dockyards and the location was perfect for this."
"Front desk staff especially Michelle is excellent but the guy there keeps on saying the water in the dispenser would be refilled but it never happened"
"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Steamer! The room was exactly as shown in the photo. It was fresh and clean. Hearing the sounds of the ocean all night is an added bonus!
The pub and restaurant downstairs was the perfect place to go for great food and conversation. They even take the time to reserve tables for guests staying in the rooms. The staff were so attentive and involved; you couldn't tell who was the owner/manager and who was hired staff - a good sign of a well-run establishment! Thank you to you all!
I most definitely recommend!"
Holiday Inn Express Portsmouth - Gunwharf Quays by IHG

"Nice comfortable and clean rooms. Great location, right in the centre of Gunwarf Quays.
The hotel also offers extra discounts to shops and restaurants for guests.
Parking was in the main carpark for Gunwarf, and if you validate at the hotel you get the first 24hrs for free and every day after for £2 (usually £28 for 24hrs)
Biggest highlight was Wayne on the bar, made us so welcome, gave good recommendations and made us a laugh."
"Loved our stay and so did our dog, especially the doggie sausage for breakfast! I made full use of the swimming pool and hot tub and had it to myself. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will come back."
