We really enjoyed our stay over the weekend. The hotel was very convenient for accessing Jewish amenities, and the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. The customer service was excellent throughout our stay.
The location was also very good, with several large shopping malls just a short taxi ride away, as well as smaller shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Our room was spacious and relatively clean, making it a comfortable place to stay.
Overall, we had a very good experience and would happily recommend the hotel.
I love how ergonomically designed the rooms are, with ample storage space for all our luggage for a 1 week stay. The Meituan takeout locker is super convenient for takeout and delivery. Staff were lovely and helpful, with the Housekeeping for our floor super accommodating and willing to work around our schedule to clean our room whenever we left.
Beautiful facility! Excellent service. English speaking staff eager to assist. Very comfortable accommodations and welcoming environment. Good location for local tours hotel pickup.
Very nice hotel with nice rooms and a good restaurant. Great chef they have there (German guy) who interacts with the customers.
All staff very nice and helpful.
Location is good for going in and out of Shanghai, but the local area seems borring.

Very clean and spacious room; swimming pool is very dated and gym equipment are limited;
Room excellent. Nice surroundings. Location not bad. Pool downstairs with sauna etc v. functional with large pool. Could do with a spruce up and harder cleaning.
However, I booked with a VIP booking. When I went to book dinner I checked, and the restaurant refused to honour the 25% discount. I went back to the reception and they also refused. I had made a special trip back with family for dinner, so this was unpleasant. So we went to a non-hotel restaurant.
The next morning I talked to the manager who admitted fault but would not make it right except for some vague promise of a discount if I stayed in the future. I asked for a voucher or something, but nothing. So I had a written unequivocal discount in writing and I am expected to take vague promises? What prompted this review is I just got an email asking me to join Millennium....
During my recent stay at the hotel, I was pleased to find that it had been thoughtfully refurbished since my last visit over a decade ago. My room on the 8th floor was spacious, clear, and comfortable, offering a beautiful view. The amenities provided exceeded my expectations. However, there were a few areas for improvement that I believe the hotel should consider.
Firstly, the chair in the room was uncomfortable for extended seating, which was a concern as I had to work from the room for several hours each day during my week-long stay. Secondly, the minibar items were overpriced, which was a bit disappointing. Thirdly, I was about about to be charged an exorbitant amount to print a booklet, so I gave it up. Fourthly, while the idea of the mailbox located outside the room for package deliveries and laundry services is fantastic, finding someone to inform me of its existence and accessing it was a bit of a challenge. Lastly, I found the hotel's laundry service to be quite expensive, almost equivalent to the cost of the clothes themselves. If guests require laundry services, it would be advisable to find an external alternative.
Despite these minor issues, I immensely enjoyed my stay and appreciate the thoughtful refurbishment. I look forward to visiting again in the future.
