Old hotel yet still in good condition. Convenient location, close to subway. Breakfast is excellent. The part I didn’t like was that front desk asked for deposit at check in even though my room was fully paid at the time of booking

Great Location
This is a great hotel. The staff are attentive and helpful. The property is directly adjacent to a shopping center with many restaurants, shops, and even a grocery store in the basement area.

Why don't they provide earplugs?
I have stayed at this hotel many times, but always in a room facing the front. This trip I was in the back of the hotel. Each night I was awoken several times due to noise. It seems the delivery entrance and garbage pickup was just below my room. Due to local ordinance big trucks need to be off city streets by 6 am so much activity occurs all through the night. A special pickup of scrap metal - into a metal dumpster occurred my last night at 2:30 am. Really 2:30am!! Garbage pickup was at 5 am on the 1st and 3rd day.
