"Hmm. This is a very good property and would be excellent anywhere else in the world but standards in Greece/Crete are very high. It's a little gloomier inside photos suggest with only limited natural light. There is construction work going on literally adjacent to the property currently so expect some noise and essentially the outdoor balcony space is off-limits during the daytime. "Beautiful quiet spot! A walk or cycle from the Center of Frangkocastello (and where the beach is wonderful and child friendly too). The taverna on the sea front just infront of the property has excellent traditional Greek food and there are many more to try in the center too. Very peaceful location, with a few similar looking apartment hotels scattered along this coastline. The hosts are wonderful. A pool was just finishing being built right behind the current apartments property and looked like...

"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs).
