"We really enjoyed staying here. The hide-away bed was comfortable. And I appreciated the brown binder with all the information & suggestion. The entire place was beautiful. I got some ideas for my house-like the heated seat bidet & the light. :-) As I mentioned I tried to get in on the 10th but waited too long to make the reservation and it was no longer available. So I changed our day of travel just to stay here and the place did not disappoint!"

"During our visit to Seward we enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Fisherman’s retreat. The location of the cabin is perfect, just outside of the city proper but close to anything you need. The morning views of the mountains are spectacular! Nola, the property manager, was super helpful and took excellent care of us during our stay whenever we had any questions. Highly recommend this accommodation if you are visiting Seward!!"

"We stayed in the condo the third week in September. The area was not very crowded and businesses were starting to shut down for the season. The condo is located right in the harbor. The view is incredible. You can see boats and sea life. We enjoyed looking out at the harbor. The condo is very clean and comfortable. We stayed for two nights and found the condo well stock with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend staying here!"

"Our host was able to get us in early which worked out very well for us. The host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. It was very clean and a great space. The couch with the foam topper was very comfortable. This space is right by downtown and not far from a free shuttle stop. Noise from the upstairs apartment was a little bothersome but not that bad."

"We loved the location and access to everything downtown. Seward is beautiful and has several wonderful restaurants. The weather was perfect but we did keep the windows open during our stay, but we weren’t able to keep the bathroom window open because of an overwhelming gas odor. We sent a message to our host about it during our stay, but never received a response. The building is very old and the stairs to the parking in the back are very old and narrow. It was difficult to bring out luggage...

"Loved this unique property with lots of charm! Close to everything downtown--Sea Life Center is a definite must. A short (free) shuttle ride to the harbor too if you're doing a whale watching tour. Host was responsive and place was very clean--great beds! There are stairs here, fyi."

"Hotel is a vintage building. Room was small but very clean. Bathroom was vintage but water pressure and temp were fine. It took awhile to get into the building and reach our room because we couldn’t get someone to answer the phone and give us the entry code to the building and our room. Picture on website was not an accurate representation of our room. Would not recommend if you have difficulty climbing steps. "

"The cabin is lovely, very clean and well maintained. All as described. However, you should be prepared for a few things! Boat drop off is a little hairy - if waves are high the water taxi will drop you very quickly (grab your stuff and run off the boat!) or may even decline to drop you on the little beach. This sounds like it's more of an issue at the end of August/early Sept shoulder season. The hike is very steep. Bring a hiking backpack not a suitcase! If there is any chance of rain, be...
