About this property
Why choose GracePointe Valley? Read our reviews! Enjoy the views, not traffic!
Come enjoy the incredible beauty of the Smoky Mountains at GracePointe Valley! The air is fresh, the trails are beckoning, and the creeks are rolling! If the cabin's cozy atmosphere and outdoor fire pit and swing don’t get you in the mood, the lights, activities, and excitement of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge surely will!
And speaking of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, with all the excitement, unfortunately, comes lots of traffic (especially during peak seasons). So if you'd rather enjoy the fun things to do, or perhaps, you would prefer to enjoy the natural beauty, rather than sit in traffic, Grace Pointe Valley is the place for you. It is situated in beautiful Wear's Valley and offers many options for back roads to avoid the traffic. Back roads provide convenient access to North, mid and South Pigeon Forge and both North and South Gatlinburg so you can make the most of your vacation. You can also access the National Park's Metcalf Bottoms entrance which is within a 10-minute drive of the cabin.
Perhaps this is your first time, or first time in a long time, to visit area. We're interested, not only in providing you with a clean, comfortable and well-equipped accomodationa, but also want your experience to be one you'll never forget. Both Mike and Micki are native East Tennesseans and are very familiar with the area. So when it comes time to choose local things to do, enjoy great dining and perhaps, even expand your experiences to other areas in East Tennessee, we're here to help. Simply let us know a little about what you enjoy and we're ready and excited to recommend experiences you will love. Even though we're senior citizens, we are blessed with 2 adult children and 6 grandchildren, with which we enjoy having fun. We can recommend things which will appeal to all ages.
Our 3BR/2BA log cabin, located in the heart of Wears Valley, offers just what you're looking for in a Smoky Mountain get-away. The prime location means you're only minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains park boundary as well as minutes from the fun and excitement of Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. It really IS the best of both worlds! And the biggest plus of all? Backroads everywhere to help you avoid traffic and congestion!
GracePointe Valley is our family cabin, purchased Spring 2017, and replaces our former cabin (GracePointe of Gatlinburg) that was destroyed in the 2016 wildfires. This new cabin is located in an area unaffected by the 2016 wildfires and the mountains surrounding it are beautiful, green and untouched. We have completely renovated and updated this cabin and continue to make improvements. New mattresses, linens, and furniture are just the starting point. All cabinetry has been refinished (yes, that "distressed" look is intentional) and new hardwood floors have been installed. As more and more guests discover GracePointe Valley, our positive reviews increase. Come see what they're talking about! :-)
With a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, queen beds in each of the two upstairs bedrooms, and a full bath on each floor, you'll have plenty of room for everyone in the family. There's even a set of child-sized (note: "child-sized"...meaning kids, not teenagers. Beds are 33 X70 inches as compared with standard twins which are 30 X 74 inches) bunk beds in the upstairs landing, making a fun spot for the kiddos.
The kitchen is completely stocked with new dishes, flatware, and cookware. And there's a laundry room (washer & dryer) for your convenience. Cable television and internet are also provided.
We continue to improve the exterior of the cabin and even added a firepit area, complete with firewood, stacked and ready to go. (What other cabin offers a firepit and supplies your firewood? Not many, I assure you! Don't forget to pack the marshmallows!) You can even sit in the hot tub near the firepit! And we just added a swing by the firepit, too! (Can you tell we love the firepit?) A charcoal grill and outdoor dining set means dinner on the deck is a must! Other considerations include ample parking, a wrap-around deck, rocking chairs, a porch swing, and a hot tub. In other words, pretty much everything you need to relax, refresh, and renew.
New photos are being added to our VRBO page as improvement are made. Improvements completed last summer include: renovated bathrooms, the kids bunk area, and the cabin exterior. All bedding is new in all bedrooms and bedroom furniture is new in both upstairs bedrooms. (As a side note, all mattresses are encased to protect against any type of infestation.) The large living room includes a new sofa and love seat with new hardwood flooring throughout.
Please note: GracePointe Valley is located in a quiet, mostly residential area and is definitely NOT a "party cabin." If your vacation plans include hosting loud outdoor parties, you will want to consider another property as you will not find GracePointe Valley to be a good fit for your group. On the other hand, if you're looking for the perfect spot to relax with a good book, enjoy a quiet evening around the firepit, or sweet family/friend dinner time on the deck, then GracePointe Valley is the perfect spot!
If time around the pool is on your vacation list, we also provide access to a nearby (About 1 mile) pool and fishing pond for your enjoyment! We pay the cost of the access. You'll receive access info to Honeysuckle Meadows pool and stocked fishing pond after booking.

We arrived to a well-maintained cabin that fit our family needs perfectly! Everything was well stocked and would rent this cabin again if going back to the area.
This cabin was very clean, had everything we needed, and was overall a great experience to have our family together for Christmas. It was ahout 20 minutes from the main part of Pigeon Forge, so it was peaceful
This was our 4th stay, 3rd in a row. We love this place and it is our home away from home for our annual friends trip. A great location with everything you need or would want.
We had a great time at GracePointe! It was such a cute property and in excellent condition. Also very clean and had the best supplied cleaning products and most well-stocked kitchen we have ever encountered in our 10 years of Christmas trips. We would definitely recommend this cute little cabin!
We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful cabin. The location of the cabin was convenient to main attractions. The cabin was fully stocked with everything a family would need.
Our family really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Very peaceful and the location is easy to get to. Well stocked and a comfy place just to kick back and relax. Highly recommend GracePointe Valley.
Loved all the Christmas decorations, spacious cabin, wonderful outdoor space. Didn’t get to use outdoor space firepit because of no burn ban, but did enjoy the swings.
Our family booked a getaway to the mountains to celebrate Christmas. The cabin was beautifully decorated and was so cozy with the indoor fireplace. Everything was so clean and well stocked. It was the perfect cabin!
Grace point is just like the description!
Check in and check out was a breeze. Great communication with owners. Very comfy beds and lots of outdoor space. We would definitely stay here again.
If you’re looking for a quiet place away from the traffic of Gatlinburg, this is it! A beautiful spacious, clean cabin with lots of outside seating on a fabulous porch. We had long days hiking and looked forward to relaxing at this home at the end of the day. Excellent communication with the owners. I’d definitely stay again.
We all enjoyed our first visit to TN there is so much to do. The cabin was perfect it met all our needs, everything we needed was there, the hot tub was enjoyed by most. We are looking forward to coming back.
The home was perfect. They even provided paper towels, toilet paper and tons of spices and other pantry staples. The owner responded quickly when we needed to call him about the low firewood situation and he delivered it himself. The fireplace and hottub were the selling points. We would definitely stay here again.
The owner is very responsive. I have never been to a place that supplies coffee and spices, but this place does. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of space to just hang out in.
The only thing I would say is that some areas were dusty.
We enjoyed our stay at GracePointe Valley. Everything was as described and worked great for our family. The location was fantastic for everything we did. We even had the pleasure of seeing a bear one evening when we pulled in the driveway. The size was great for our family of four, plus the in-laws. We had no issues that we needed to contact the owner. They provided all the information we needed prior to check-in. We would stay here again.
We rented this property for a family vacation with our two grown daughters and our son-in-law. It was perfect for what we needed. The area was close to downtown and the attractions and restaurants we visited, but secluded enough for private family time. Everything we needed was included in the property, even extra paper towels and toilet tissue! We enjoyed the hot tub, games, and the coffee bar was amazing. We had a need to reach out to the owners as we left something behind and Michael was kind enough to send it back to us promptly. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.
GracePointe Valley was the perfect hidden gem for our Labor Day weekend family get away. It was exactly as advertised. The owners were prompt with responses prior to our arrival and we didn’t have any issues while we were there. We made use of the coffee provided and added to the collection for future guests. We didn’t have to travel more than 20 minutes to visit Pigeon Forge or hike the Smokies. We really enjoyed winding down each evening with dinner or games around the dining room table.
Location of the cabin is perfect! Cozy, clean cabin with great area for bonfires. We come down every fall to remember my father, who loved GSMNP! Stopping into Grandmothers kitchen is a must! The best biscuits ever!
The exterior of the cabin had lots of huge spiders. There were so many webs on the table and rocking chairs, that we didn’t even use that part of the deck. My kids enjoyed the hot tub but it’s in need of a good cleaning. There were cute little raccoons that came onto deck each night. Appears that they live under the deck.
Myself, my husband, and 2 other couples rented this cabin for a week. It's even more beautiful in person once you get inside. The hot tub was lovely and we used the outdoor seating and the fire pit more than the dining room table! My only complaint was I didn't like the bed, but that's simply due to personal preference. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are relatively close, but a good 20-30 minute drive. If it storms and the roads close it can be closer to an hour! Still a great location if you ask me! I would definitely rent again if I had a group the same size.
We loved our stay and location at the GracePointe Valley cabin! After a full day at Dollywood we made it to the cabin for a good nights sleep and a relaxing morning after with SEC football, homemade breakfast of biscuits, bacon and Dollywood cinnamon bread. The location of the cabin was perfect to stay away from the crowd covered Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg by staying in/around Wears Valley and Townsend. We enjoyed a hot tub soak after a long afternoon hike and a fun afternoon of zip lining!
Our only complaint was the excess of spiderwebs inside and outside the cabin but that is mostly due to the time of year. Also, a small blower would be extra handy for the porch!
We traveled with my wife, three kids, and my wife’s parents. The cabin was exactly as advertised. My family spent a lot of time in the park while her parents spent a lot of time relaxing at the cabin. It was great to have a place to come back to and relax after a long day of exploring. The cabin provided everyone in our group the experience they were looking for. The cabin is in a little neighborhood but you feel like you are the only ones in the area. It’s a short 15 minute drive to get into the park. The drive to Pigeon Forge can take 15-25 minutes depending on traffic. The cabin environment is so nice that you almost feel guilty leaving it to go to town. I will recommend this cabin to any of my personal friends if the plan a trip to the area.
We had a lovely time staying at this beautiful home. It felt like it was tucked away in a very quiet spot but it was within 10 to 15 minutes of pretty much anything you would need or want. We were 30 minutes from Gatlinburg and 30 minutes from Dollywood. Great location.
The facilities were very nice. Plenty of coffee available for us! Very nice living room/kitchen area and the entire home was very clean. We enjoyed the fire pit every night.
One minor note: the upstairs beds were pretty small, almost too small for two adults who aren't a couple to sleep in comfortably. Not a criticism! The house was beautiful and comfortable. Just something to be aware of.
We highly recommend this home! The hosts were on top of all of our questions, were very helpful, and we enjoyed our stay. We are grateful for the opportunity to stay at the property.
Very nice cabin with all of the comforts of home. We have stayed at other VRBO properties before, but this one had many of the supplies that you would need without bringing them from home, like a huge supply of TP, paper towels, bath towels, beach towels dish soap etc. The kitchen is well supplied and even had some of the spices that you would want to add to a meal. We enjoyed the hot tub almost every night and the use of the fire pit. Upon driving up, it looked like we were in a subdivision, but the house is located on a deadend in some secluded woods that made us feel like we were out by ourselves. We were close to the Smokey Mountain park and also the city attactions. Correspondence with the owner was superb when a problem did arise. We were traveling with out daughter, SIL, and 4 grandchildren who all had an enjoyable week. I would definitely recommend if you are traveling to the Gatlinburg area.
