ATTENTION: We want to ensure you that our cleaners are following Government guidelines to protect you as a guest and themselves from COVID-19. Cleaners are using 99.9% alcohol to clean the entire cabin. This includes door knobs, remotes, keypads, light switches, faucets, sinks, etc.


This delightfully decorated and amply furnished log cabin is a great find. Time Away Cabin is conveniently located only minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge off of Wears Valley Rd. (Light #3). Surrounded by woods will make it a perfect setting for a romantic getaway or honeymoon. This cabin is also great for a family getaway.

The private bedroom offers you a king size log bed with a Roku TV, Jacuzzi tub and full bath. Step outside onto the screened in deck and relax in the hot tub.

The living room includes a queen sofa sleeper, 32' flat screen TV, with Roku, wireless internet, free local and long distance and gas fireplace.

Enjoy the screened in deck with rockers, air hockey/ping pong combo table.

Other amenities include a fully furnished kitchen, gas grill, washer and dryer.

Our cabin is only a short walk to the lake.


Located 10 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge and 15 minutes from Gatlinburg. With shopping, Dollywood, Splash Country, dining, hiking, live theater, arcades, horseback riding, ziplines, skiing, amusement parks, water parks, and much more just minutes away. You will certainly have plenty to do.

Perfect getaway

We stayed 5 days. It was nice and quiet but only 19 minutes from town with all the attractions. Its exactly what I wanted for our vacation. The cabin was perfect and clean.

The cabin was adorable! This was the perfect weekend getaway spot! My boyfriend and I loved our time in Time Away. The cabin was remote but not hard to find. There was the cutest Christmas Tree decorated in the living room that made the stay even more magical. It was perfect!

We loved our stay at “Time Away”. Everything looked clean and orderly, with the exception of a few spots on the top quilt of the bed. The hot tub was so nice and the space was perfect for 2!

The Stay

It is a little piece of heaven. The property is small but huge for two people. There is no yard outside the cabin. The hot tub was good but not cold enough to use. The house is dated. The book that is left shows google maps from 2013. We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was great.

It was a nice, clean and cute cabin. Loved the black bear decor. We thought we only had two towels, but then found a load in the dryer that we used. The back screened in porch was nice and loved the hot tub. It would be nicer though if there were solar lights hung and the porch windows weren’t up so high so we could see the scenery sitting in the rocking chairs.

Owner communicated very well if you had a question. Clean, no smell, I have nothing to complain about or say bad. She responded within 5mins if you text answer if you called getting lost coming to your cabin. I’ll be back.

Cozy and Perfect for Two!!!

My husband and I stayed here for a week for our honeymoon in Pigeon Forge. This was the absolute BEST and far better than any hotel. I WILL be recommending this to my friends and family. The first bit of the stay is the only reason I gave “location and neighborhood” 3 stars instead of 5 like all the other categories. But honestly it wasn’t even the owners who caused the issues directly. We came in after dark on the late side. Around 9pm. So some key markers like the “Time Away” marker on the cabin, or the gravel parking space right in the nook of a turn in the road, were not visible. We ended up having to call the owner, who was very friendly and helpful!!! Also the code locks were dead, so the owner helped us out with some keys. The roads leading to it also had some VERY sharp turns and they were very small. But we have never vacationed in the mountains before so maybe that’s normal. The front door also gets stuck very easily, so it takes some strength to open and close it. Other than that the stay was absolutely perfect! Very clean and comfortable. Easy directions for the tub jets and hot tub. Felt like we were tucked away from society while only a 15min drive from Pigeon Forge! 40mins from Gatlinburg. The kitchen had enough for me to make a couple simple meals, and the laundry was able to be cleaned as well! The AC was divine and the hot tub was amazing. Highly recommend this to any couples who want to stay here. Wonderful accommodations for an amazing price.
