We really enjoyed our stay at Maples Ridge cabin! The hosts were really friendly and super helpful. The cabin was really pretty, and the location was so convenient! It was only about five miles from the Island in Pigeon Forge.
Cabin was the perfect size, the location was quiet and just out of town. Great for relaxing, and playing in the creek. My family loved it and I will stay here again.
Overall nice property. We loved having the creek in the back yard and even had a bear stroll through while we were having coffee one morning. We’re planning on going back in November!
The house was conveniently located with many attractions just 10 -15 minutes away. It was easy to get in and out which was a plus for my elderly mother. The house was clean and provided plenty of room for the five of us.
The house was clean and in a beautiful location. The River out back was so peaceful!
Only bad thing- which they probably don’t have a lot of control over - was the big trailer of trash at the end of the lane that was blowing into the yards.
We had a great stay at the cabin! It accommodated my family of three grown daughters and one of their boyfriends along with my husband and granddaughter. The A/C was a great escape from the heat and the jacuzzi was perfect after a long day. Great communication with the property owner while staying in the cabin. Would definitely recommend!
We come to Pigeon Forge every year to celebrate birthdays, and mother day with my family .. This house is definitely 5 ⭐.. there is plenty of space here inside and out.. The creek behind the house is absolutely wonderful and refreshing.. Great place to relax and unwind..we will definitely try and book this one again next year
This property is a win from the very start of communication. The property manager responds very quickly and is very easy to communicate. This house is in a fairly private location which is what we look for having children. We love that it sits in a quiet area but is close to tow ! but is
The creek was my favorite part. We watched and listened to the sounds of flowing water and wildlife which could be heard and seen from the screened in back porch. Or we could sit out in the backyard right up next to the water. Did some wading and fishing and grilled hotdogs and hamburgers. After the sun went down, we roasted marshmallows and made s'mores. We had a lovely time with our family. Would definitely book again.
We came up for a short break with a planned trip to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. My son and granddaughter enjoyed fishing in the creek and we enjoyed watching them. The cabin is close to things and yet far enough away. We loved the location.
There were a few issues with the cabin, but found Lori extremely responsive to repairing the issues.
Master bedroom bed was not comfortable, pick another room! We all enjoyed the hot tub! Would love to stay again!
4 adults and the birthday girl for this trip. The cabin was perfect! First of all I can’t say enough how conveniently located the cabin is to town! That was AMAZING. Communication from the owner’s was fantastic. There were a few little things in the cabin, like the exhaust fan not working in one bathroom. But that didn’t change our lovely visit and we just let them know when we left. They were very receptive and I’m sure it will be fixed. Last but certainly not least is the gorgeous view of the creek, the screened in back porch.and the stone steps down to the creek. All a huge bit for the entire family. If you want to be close to town and be able to listen to the soothing water running? BOOK IT!!
We enjoyed our time here! The creek and hot tub were great features. The property was clean when we arrived and we were able to access the property earlier than expected since we contacted the host that we were in town. communication with the host was good as well.
Some of the cons were that the chairs by the fire pit were not quote as nice as the ones in the listing photos, the microwave was slightly broken at the top, and the guest bathroom sink did not have a stopper. However, these are all minor things that could be easily fixed. It also would have been great if there had been skewer(s) available for roasting marshmallows.
Overall, we had a great time and there was plenty of space for us all. Close to town/entertainment as well which was very convenient. We would book this property again :)
Well kept cabin. Nicely appointed. Location is very nice. Loved the stream with firepit next to it. 7 chairs and table outside. Our bed was comfortable. The king bed with the adjoining bath was overly fluffy and guests sunk in it and had a hard time getting out of the bed (not their desired taste). Sink in adjoining bath did not drain. Slider to porch very hard to open, as is the porch door. Fridge took 2 full days to cool, with just beverages, which we chose to not eat in because we didn't know if food would spoil (known cooling issue, as it's outlined in the cabin instruction book). Would stay here again.
We had a great stay in the Pigeon Forge area. The cabin is in a quiet area yet within in 15 minutes of the parkway. There is a gas station, grocery store, DG Market and pizza shop a mile away.
We had 6 adults from 3 generations staying at the cabin and we enjoyed our time. This is one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary cookware and utensils, and very clean! Basic seasoning and firewood wasn't provided but easily accessible at the nearby stores. The wifi worked well.
Communication with the host was very good. She was accessible through text and responded promptly. We had a minor issue and maintenance came and addressed it promptly.
The evenings by the creek with a campfire were relaxing. It was warm while we were visiting and there was usually a breeze so you could enjoy the outdoors comfortably.
Highly recommend this cabin for families that want to enjoy nature as well as easy access to all the PF activities.
