It was a cozy cabin and the amenities and layout were as described. Heather, the host, checked in periodically and was very quick to respond, always. This cabin was right around 20 minutes from Gatlinburg and about 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge. This was nice because the cabin is remote and in the woods, yet not far from tourist attractions. Overall, this was a great cabin and experience.
Cabin was exactly what we needed for a quick getaway. It is quiet and away from all the tourist areas yet only about 30 mins from all the area attractions.
Amazing place to stay! If you are looking to go to the Smokies and want to be away from all the crowds this is the place to stay. It exceed all expectations.
My husband and I were very pleased with everything about the cabin. We had a quick last minute get away and enjoyed the stay. Although it was a little distance off main road it wasn’t a bad ride and easy access to the surrounding towns we visited. We’d much rather stay in a cabin then a hotel when visiting the beautiful mountains there.
When we arrived it was between 4:30-5 pm We unpacked and went to get something to eat came back watched some tv went to bed early. We got up around 8 am and I went to take a shower and I noticed the ceiling above the shower had mold I sent a message and never heard from anyone so I called and talked to Heather(the host) assistant I told them we didn’t feel comfortable staying with the mold so we were checking out. We wasn’t there 24 hours and she charged me 336.00 and 93.50 cleaning fee I told her I didn’t think that was fair and she didn’t agree. We won’t go back

It was a cute cozy cabin! Only problems we had was the road signs weren’t very lit up when driving up so made it hard for us to figure out which road to take in the dark and a huge pot hole leading up to the road we had to take and the key pad was hard to get into at first, and there was a bunch of dust still on the baseboards of all the windows but other than that, we loved staying there and was still close to everywhere we wanted to go and wish we could’ve stayed longer!
The Cabin itself was clean and spacious however, it needed some updates; I would bring extra towels and pans if wanting to cook. They supply the basic. The bed is hard and the outside grounds need an grounds keeper. No local TV channel offer but Netflix is . The property is 20 minutes away from Gatlinburg and 20minutes from Pigeon Forge. Would stay again now that we know what to expect!

It was okay, not worth the value
There was no microwave as listed; however, they brought one the next day. it is a cute cabin; but we did expect more from such an expensive listing. The TV was so slow that we decided to watch everything on the computer instead. Also, communication was terrible. It was an okay experience thinking of the money we spent to rent it.
First off, I have stayed in many different cabins in the past and this is the first time I have had a property owner reach out to me during and after my stay to make sure everything was going good. It makes you feel like more than a paycheck to them.
As far as the property goes, it was exactly what my husband and I were looking for to celebrate our second wedding anniversary! The pictures and descriptions of the cabin were exactly right. The wifi worked great, it was a very quiet area, relatively close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We didn’t cook or use any of the appliances (other than the refrigerator) so I can’t say how those worked. Overall this was a great cabin at a great price, I would definitely stay here again.
Good cabin in a good location.
4 stars because we had a wasp nest right at the front door (20+ bees two feet from your head), and the host provided one ketchup sized packet worth of shampoo for 5 nights stay in 90 degree weather.
This place did work for us (me, my husband, and our dog) but it was really sparse and I think if the owner were to bring in a few things (like hangers for the closets) that would go a long way to help us overlook some of the less comfortable things about the place. Here's a list of the hits and the misses.
Hits:
The owner was responsive at the time of booking (the only time we tried to communicate); in a quiet wooded area; had a kitchen; functional fireplace that we used and enjoyed; great water pressure in the shower; good size for two adults and our dog; pet friendly; good temperature control.
The Misses:
Kitchen was really sparse, only two large plates, two little plates, two bowls, two mugs, and two water glasses, and just a few pots and pans. Made cooking dinner a little challenging (would have liked an extra bowl for mixing and some extra plates for snacks, fortunately we brought some pans); nowhere to put away clothes which I might not have noticed if there had at least been some hangers in the closets; a bathroom floor mat would make sense given how prone to water damage the floors appear to be; the main room couch/futon was pretty uncomfortable; bed was just ok. Then there were cosmetic issues that, on top of those other things, kind of made me feel like we were slumming it a little like hooks pulled from the wall/drywall damage and damage to the futon. Also there wasn't any dishwashing detergent so we couldn't run the dishwasher per the checkout instructions which wasn't a problem for us but is representative of a lot of the little things that were weirdly missing.
Still, with all of this we would stay again but might look for a comparable alternative first.
Roads were very narrow and shower stall was small ,overall perfect for vacation we had one deer visit us and a short drive away at Cades cove we saw black bear and deer whitch they say you can see every day we enjoyed it
