Beautiful and Relaxing Stay in the Smokies

My wife and I made our first trip to the area and had an amazing time. Cabin was just as advertised and the owners were awesome with communication. Cabin was clean and well supplied. This would be great for a small family with lots of games for the family to play.

Great Place

Beautiful cabin with spectacular views! Wonderful family vacation spot with the kids.

This cabin was perfect! Spectacular views and very relaxing. Nice being a little away from the touristy crowds, but convenient to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, restaurants, and hiking in the Smokies. Well maintained cabin and community. The game room & hot tub were perfect for down time and kept the kids busy & happy. The hosts were very responsive & helpful when needed. Our first trip to the Smokies was fantastic, thank you!

Tennessee Beauty

We had a wonderful week in Tennessee. The Forget Me Knot property provided a little bit of everything for our entire party. From reading books on the balcony with a great view to intense Air Hockey matches amongst the kids. All of our party (aged 2-44) had a wonderful experience.

Spectacular!

This cabin is immaculate and so very comfortable! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our trip. It had everything that we needed to feel right at home. We had a wonderful time exploring the beauty of the National Park and the fun at Dollywood. It was a pleasure to come home each day and enjoy the beautiful views and overall comfort of the home. Christina was very helpful with all of our questions and also had wonderful advice on local favorites to visit while we were in the area. Thank you for sharing your cabin with our family!!

Just awesome

Everything about this property is as advertised. The view is amazing, particularly at sunrise and sunset. We were blessed with some beautiful late fall foliage, capped with a little snow at the far mountain top one morning. The attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are within 30 to 40 minutes away, close enough for day trips but far enough to escape the throngs of tourists. The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is practically in the backyard, allowing ample opportunities for early morning or late afternoon trips to view wildlife. We saw a bear, quite a few deer, and turkeys just before sunset in Cades Cove one night and a stunning sunset at Kuwohi another night. The cabin is clean and very comfortable, from the beds to the living room furniture and the deck seating. And there is plenty to keep the entire family entertained in the evening, with a game room, hot tub, and smart TVs. The drive up the mountain is paved and the signage for the resort is helpful. So it was an easy climb for us in a 4-cylinder car, but as the owners advise, you would definitely want AWD or 4WD after a snowfall. All in all a great place to stay and I hope to get back there again soon.

Relaxing Pit Stop

Beautiful home, extremely clean & well decorated. We felt warm and welcomed during our stay. This was a quick stop in between SC and KY with the in-laws, our 16yrd old son, & our 18yr old son that had just graduated basic training. We picked this home because of the amenities. Having so much entertainment in house allowed our 3 generations to relax and spend quality time together. It was truly wonderful. The not so great: This is in a community where the cabins are about 40ft apart. The pictures make it look a lot bigger too. All of the games are in a small room outside of the downstairs master room and the only 2 bathrooms are located in bedrooms so that was not convenient. We would 100% stay here again. The location is great, views are great, amenities are fantastic, and the cleanliness is amazing. I am very very picky about smells and cleanliness, no issues at all with this cabin.

Awesome stay!

My group thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. There were 4 adults in our party. The cabin was spacious, was well stocked, and exactly as described online. The check in process was easy and the cabin was very clean. Chris and Christina communicated well with us, both prior to and throughout our trip. We saw 5 bears during our trip! One was very close as another home in the community left their garbage out! (Obey the rules on your trash)!! Not a criticism, but just a note for those who may not be traveling with family….the only bathroom on the main floor is inside a bedroom. So you either have to go through someone’s personal space or go the bathroom in the lower level master (again someone’s personal space). Our daughter stayed in the loft so had to always go into “someone’s room” to get to a bathroom. It wasn’t an issue for us, but others may want to be aware. My group enjoyed the workout facility and sauna. Unfortunately there was a large bus of people at the pool the day we went, so we didn’t get to enjoy it as we hoped. We would definitely stay here again!

Views can’t be beat!

Our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids (12 and 16) had a wonderful time at this cabin! It had everything you need to feel at home on vacation. My kids loved the game room and could have spent the entire vacation down there!The kitchen was fully stocked, making staying in for meals easy. The beds were comfortable - word of warning for the vertically challenged - the king bed is super tall! I’m 5’3” and had to climb to get in (the top of the mattress was at my waist)!!!!There are wood rails you can use to climb up.We loved the hot tub!Overall, I highly recommend this cabin the hosts were super responsive when contacted. 10/10.

We had a great stay. We loved the view of the mountains. Unfortunately, we had to leave our vacation early. Because of that, we left some shirts in a closet. We contacted the owners and they immediately helped us and shipped our shirts. Thanks so much!

My family and I had an excellent stay at “forget me knot”. Morning and evening views from the living room are amazing. Cabin is nicely stocked with everything we needed and more! Location was perfect for us as it was outside the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg but close to the GSMNP entrance and bypasses. Great place to relax and unwind. 10/10 will be returning.

Great Family Trip

This trip was the perfect way to unplug and connect with my teenage kids. We loved the family game nights and star gazing from the hot tub. The views from the Preserve were incredible. The cabin was everything we needed. Great trip!

Family vacation

Overall we had a great time. The cabin was nice. We're a family of 6 and everyone had a bed to sleep in comfortably. One minor thing that turned into a little challenge was the bathroom's are in the bedrooms. For future guests hoping to see fireworks from the resort on the 4th, you can't see them. Great proximity to the National Park and attractions for kids. Overall very satisfied with the stay.

Loved this property. Very quiet and outside of the touristy madness of Gatlinburg, but still close to great hiking trails. Absolutely stunning view from the property and very comfortable. Host was very communicative before during and after. Even offered personal recommendations. I would stay here again and for a whole week.

Cozy mountain retreat

Dealing with the owners was a pleasure, with clear instructions and prompt responses. Went here for my son's birthday, and made memories that will last a lifetime. The views were fantastic. Everything was a 10/10. I will definitely be booking here again for my next trip to the smokies.

Beautiful views!

My family and I spent 2 days in the smoky mountains at this lovely house and had a wonderful time! Gorgeous views! We loved the game room and hot tub as well. Would definitely recommend for any family staying in the area. Easy access to Pigeon Forge and other neighboring towns.
