Mountain Splendor: Best Mountain View in Starr Crest Resort - Brand New Hot Tub

Mountain Splendor The perfect name for this 2 story 2 bedroom (1 private & 1 loft) cabin with amazing, breathtaking 180 degree views of Mt. LeConte. Mountain Splendor was the first cabin developed at the top peak of the Mountain. It is one of the highest occupied cabins in the resort year after year.

- ALL ADVERTISED "2 BEDROOM CABINS" features an enclosed (PRIVATE) bedroom on the main floor and an open loft (NOT PRIVATE) second bedroom upstairs sharing the floor with the game area. In other words, the king bed located in the open loft floor is considered the "second bedroom"; please understand, one out of the two bedrooms in this cabin does not contain a door that allows for any privacy from the rest of the floor. 
- Not a secluded cabin. Due to being located in a resort setting, there are neighboring cabins to be mindful of.
- Cabins are easily accessible year-round as the roads are well maintained by the resort staff to provide stress-free travel to all guests. The resort features inclined roads that are paved, wide, and do not require special vehicles or four-wheel drive to navigate, however, should a four-wheel drive vehicle be accessible to you, it would benefit our guests to drive that vehicle when visiting during the winter months in case of snowfall, to be able to access other parts of town comfortably.
- Offers a gas fireplace that is for ambiance purposes only. This fireplace is not advertised as a heating source for the cabin.
- Furnished with Aspen Log Furniture to provide that rustic, but luxurious cabin feel.
- Charcoal for the outdoor grill, kitchen spices/oils for preparing meals in the kitchen, coffee filters for the coffee maker, and clothes hangers for the closets are special items that we would like to point out that we do not provide to guests during their stay.

Nicely appointed cabin!

Our whole family enjoyed the views and the game room. As others have mentioned, this cabin is part of a large, pretty tightly packed development, but the decks felt reasonably private despite that.

Great views

We really enjoyed our stay this weekend. The view is second to none and everything is clean and in working order. Only issue we had was Ants in the kitchen, which we discovered eating the $80.00 worth of fine chocolates we had purchased and in the bread and popcorn we bought at the grocery. Aside from the loss of yummies, everything else was fine. The pool table felt greasy and the pool balls definitely need to be replaced but we didn't really plan to use them anyway.

Beautiful View

The views were even better in person! When we arrived, the property looked and smelled clean. The first floor is a little tighter than the pictures appear. However, the second floor loft area is very spacious. The games were a lot of fun. The pool table is a little old and worn. The nostalgic video games brought back fund childhood memories. The best part of the cabin was the two balconies. Sitting on the porch swing overlooking the mountains was so relaxing. The neighbors are close enough that you are not completely alone but far enough for privacy. A word of caution, this cabin is on top of a mountain. The road riding up winds and turns a lot, but is wide enough and well paved. The cabin was awesome. We really enjoyed the stay and look forward to visiting again.

Family vacation

The kids loved all the fun games they had in the house. The house was very clean, the view was beautiful. We had the pleasure to watch a little bit of the fireworks from Dollywood. It was conveniently close by two pizza places that we enjoyed. Can’t wait to be back!

Breathtaking Views!

The cabin was amazing, but most importantly, the views were absolutely breathtaking! The pictures of the cabin the owners use make the cabin appear roomier than it is, but otherwise, the cabin is very cozy, clean, and the views are the absolute best!

WOW!!! This property is all that we had hoped for and more! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Every evening, we were thrilled with a front row seat to Dollywood’s fireworks!!! We also just happened to be in town while the Christmas Star was gracing us with its show (a once in a lifetime sight)! Thank you Outrageous Cabins!!!

Gorgeous view

Spectacular view! Fun area with lots to do nearby. Was a bit disappointed that there’s no one available to help you after 6pm. We had hot tub troubles that were fixed the next morning by maintenance, but quit again while we were gone and office was closed yet again when we arrived from our hikes. So we never enjoyed it. Overall, it’s a good time
