Our family of five had the trip off a lifetime visiting the great Smokie Mountains.We also own and manage vacation rental properties in Florida. This owner has done an extraordinary job of appointing and taking care of the many details that are needed for a great stay. The game room/ movie theatre downstairs was a fun gathering place after our long hikes in the surrounding mountains. We also enjoyed the multiple decks each with extraordinary views and especially the fire pit on our slightly chili spring mornings. Lots to see here in the Great Smoky Mountains and this cabin is a superb destination. We’d preferred to be in the cabin than the multiple tourist attractions!

What an amazing cabin! We have stayed in several rentals and Sweet Traditions has been the best by far! Steve and Tina thought of every detail. The home was warm, cozy and beautifully decorated. The games, movie area and hot tub made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely rent this Beaty again!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. We were so comfortable and felt as if we were right at home with all this cabin had to offer. They thought of everything! Amazing views that remind you why it’s called the Great Smoky Mountains. My group loved all the accommodations of the cabin - but the multiple decks were the absolute favorite. Guests also enjoyed a short trip to Townsend (the peaceful side), visiting the award-winning Company Distilling (excellent!) and then a beautiful drive through Cades Cove.

This cabin exceeded our expectations! My family and I had an amazing stay and will definitely be coming back! Unfortunately, our stay was interrupted by Hurricane Helene, which caused rain for our entire stay. We made the best of it and still had an amazing time! Amazing! Tina was responsive to all our questions and gave us a ton of good info about activities. The house is gorgeous! Every detail is well-appointed. Beautiful views from every room. The cabin and scenery are just stunning. The Mountain Views are spectacular. The cabin is beautiful, spacious, & well stocked with supplies. You can tell some thought went into designing, building and decorating this lovely home away from home. I loved the open communication from the host. The decks with the fire pit and rocking chairs were my favorite part. Our family of four really enjoyed our stay! Probably the nicest cabin we’ve ever stayed in.

Tennessee Happy Time..

We loved every minute of our stay… the cabin was clean and had everything from laundry soap to ice cubes . He family especially loved the view, we spotted a black bear 2 separate days during our stay foraging on the hill in front. This was so exciting to watch nature! The host was very kind and answered any questions we had. I hope it’s in our future to come back and stay again ❤️

Wonderful Weekend

My family and I enjoyed everything about Sweet Traditions! The amenities in this cabin are endless! From everything you would need in the kitchen to even the smallest detail in the bathrooms (ie Q-tips, room spray, etc…). I especially liked how everything was labeled so you know where to find just about anything you would need for your stay. The host Tina is so nice and wonderful to work with. I hope to stay with them again in the future!

My family stayed at Sweet Traditions for 5 nights and the cabin provided something for everyone. Great deck and scenery, tv viewing areas (great for movies), quiet areas to sit and talk, and plenty of games to play. The cabin layout is really efficient and you can tell the owners focused on quality materials. You can tell the owners have really invested in the property and keep it perfectly managed. These are the type of owners you want to rent from. The area was really quiet and the views were the best I've seen in the smoky mountains area. One morning we spotted a bear playing in a bush about 100 yards away from the cabin. The cabin was close enough to all attractions but far enough to keep you away from the crowds and traffic. I found that Steve and Tina have setup the property and communication about the property as a 10 out of 10. When we choose to come back I hope to stay here again, but I also expect this cabin to have a lot of bookings in the future. Thanks again Steve & Tina.

Amazing views

Such an amazing cabin. It left very little to be desired. Everything we needed was on hand. The cabin is beautiful and the only thing that is better is the view. You will want to sit and just look out as much as possible. We also had some safe bear encounters and got some photos. When you hear "bear country", take it seriously and follow the rules.

The property as stated has probably the best views of the smokies that I've ever seen. The cabin was very clean and bed super comfy. The game room was a huge plus for the kids! I cant stress enough of how great this cabin was. Our first night a huge storm rolled thru and we lost power. I was in touch with the owner very quickly and she checked in later to make sure we had power. The ease of contact was awesome. Would definitely be back one day!

Sweet Memories at Sweet Traditions

Beautiful home, the setting and views were just breathtaking. We encountered several bears during our stay. They were harmless and curious creatures and just amazing to watch. The game room was a great addition and perfect for the nights it rained. My husband is disabled amd it was one of the few homes fully able to accommodate his needs. Tina is a great host and we would love to stay again.

Spectacular Stay in the Smokies!

This cabin was just wonderful for our family of 8! Tina was communicative and so pleasant to have as a host. First off, this was by far the CLEANEST cabin we have ever booked! Everything was spotless. The cabin decor is so very well done and tasteful. Our kids (age 17 down to 2) loved spending time on the decks, playing pool and foosball, and watching movies. The starter amounts of toilet paper, soap, laundry soap, etc...were more than enough to cover our 4 night stay. The beds were so comfortable and there were plenty of bath linens for our family. The hot tub was especially clean and well maintained. The views are spectacular at this cabin- rivaling the views inside the national park. The drive up the mountain to the cabin was fun and scenic as well. The driveway was easy to access and much better than many of the driveways to other cabins we saw along the way. I would definitely recommend this location and will stay again when we come back to the Smokies!

Book it or miss out!

Sweet Traditions is accurately described in great detail right from the beginning. The owners leave nothing left out in the description. Ms. Tina called within an hour of check-in to be sure there were no issues. There were none! The check-in process could not be easier. The drive up to the cabin was easy, even in the rain, and using Florida's version of a Suburban (two wheel drive). The cleaning crew pays great attention to detail. This was, by far, the cleanest cabin we've stayed in and we've been coming to the area 2-3 times/year for 8 years. You should find everything you need in the kitchen and then some. The kids loved the hot tub and pool table which was the extent of what they used, however, arcade lovers, card players, and dart throwers will all be entertained. The TVs all had live TV !! No need to enter you streaming passwords !! Out of caution, we did not use the charcoal grill due to high winds all week. No bears or deer, but off the balcony we did see two bobcat roaming together and a family of raccoons. Bigfoot may have seen us, but we did not see him (or her).Overall, the cabin exceeded our expectations. The Prunty family clearly takes great pride in their property and ensures their guests have all the comforts of home. Book Sweet Traditions before someone else does and you miss out on your dates!We'll be back for sure..

Tina was a pleasure to work with and the cabin was absolutely incredible. The experience made our son’s birthday a dream come true. We will definitely revisit this cabin.
