The cabin is very spacious and well equipped. Our family used the hot tub, fire ring, game room and enjoyed the beautiful views from the decks. The kitchen is large and well equipped so we had dinner at the cabin every night of our stay.
Our stay was cut short because of a sudden death in our family but we were able to relax and enjoy the property for 2 days. The views were wonderful, the kids loved the game room and the hot tub was nice to relax in.
This cabin was absolutely perfect for our big family! We had plenty of room for everyone and a whole floor for our kids to play on! We would definitely stay here again!
I surprised my youngest son with this Senior Adventurer by booking this house in the mountains… we brought our whole family and it was perfect!!! Boys were in love with the house as soon as we pulled up!!!! After adventures all day… it was great to cook dinner in the huge kitchen, as a family, and ten play pool, arcades and enjoy the hot tub!!! House was decorated so well, too!!! We will definitely come stay again!
We had an awesome time at this home in the mountains! We even saw a black bear in the backyard/woods. The home is beautiful and clean and I would highly recommend!
We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The cabin is gorgeous and had everything we needed! Views were stunning! The cabin was decorated for Christmas, which the kids loved! We will definitely be renting this cabin again! Had a little hiccup checking in at the gate, but it was resolved quickly!!
This cabin was absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, had wonderful views and was clearly well maintained. There were a few minor issues (toilet that didn’t flush, doors that did not close), but other than that it was excellent. While the views were worth it, I would definitely recommend being aware that the drive up is quite steep and curvy.Overall we would absolutely stay again!
Steppingstone is a beautiful home. There was plenty of space for everyone in our party. The views are spectacular! We even were lucky enough to see a bear! Just a note: the mountain roads to the cabin are steep!
Stepping stone is beyond amazing!
Listing is very accurate but really doesn’t do it justice of how beautiful it really is
Everything was perfect!
View is gorgeous and the visit from a bear was exciting as well
Would definitely recommend
We will be back
Thank you from your new friends from Ontario, Canada
We truly enjoyed our stay. Our guests had a difficult time with the security guard at the gate being extremely rude. He ended up apologizing and stated that he was having a bad day, but his behavior was inexcusable. Beyond that, the cabin was beautiful and comfortable for our family. The furnishings are perfect for the space and I love the guide the owners provided to provide ease in navigation of the cabin and the area itself.
Had a great time with friends and family at this beautiful home in the mountains of Tennessee. Debbie was a great person who helped us with our check-in and questions during our stay. Some would say the location of this house is in a difficult to drive to spot due to the steep incline and tight switchbacks. I saw that as a challenge every time we left and returned to the home. We trailered side-by-sides from Michigan to Tennessee so we could enjoy all there was in the surrounding area, including paved roads, gravel roads, and mud trails. The house layout is especially unique and supported our two family stay. All of the amenities that were listed were great and the visit by the two local black bears was fun and exciting. The large kitchen was especially appreciated where we prepared most of our evening dinners together. The large deck spaces were very enjoyable, especially in the afternoons and evenings. If we choose to vacation in the area again, I will definitely try booking this home.
We all loved the house (our kids especially liked the arcade game) and the view of the mountains was incredible! The management company offered our guests a number of deals on local attractions which saved us some money which was an added bonus! The location worked well for our purposes (we wanted to stay away from the business of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge) and the property was serene and just what we were looking for. We also appreciated the comfortable beds and living room furniture, as well as the adequately sized table given the size of the home.
Our only complaint is regarding the safety of the railing on the upper back deck. It is very wobbly and overlooks a 30-40 foot drop, so we deemed the top porch off limits during the duration of our stay. The Lowe deck was fine so we spent some time there.
All in all a great property and we’ll would definitely consider staying here again should we ever find ourselves back in the area!
Love it everything was nice and clean , beautiful view and we got the chance to see a few bears visiting the cabin and a bobcat cub I really recommended and looking forward to come back with all my family
The house was beautiful and clean. The view was amazing. Kitchen had enough pots and pans, utensils etc. We loved the game room and hot tub. We would definitely recommend this house.
House was perfect for family vacation! Sunset views every evening were spectacular! Great location - away from the crowds but close enough to be convenient for our daily activities. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Didn’t see the neighborhood bear but we did see woodpeckers and wild turkeys in the trees!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
Cabin was beautiful, but our hot tub only worked one out of the three days we stayed. My son's car was also hit on property by a speeding car driving past. Even though we had the make and model and all cars have to be registered, they couldn't help with identification of the driver. Probably would choose a different property if we return to area.
