About this property
Century-old log cabin! Hot tub, game room, firepit, 5 min from Pigeon Forge
Welcome to Greenwood Historic Cabin! Step back in time in this genuine, hand-built Smoky Mountain cabin, nestled into the edge of the forest at the foot of Bluff Mountain. You'll be transported to a simpler time, close to nature and focused on family and friends. While experiencing the unique, old-time ambiance, you'll also enjoy modern comforts and amenities including the private hot tub, outdoor fireplace, game room, large screen TV, fast internet, and more.
As you enter Greenwood Cabin, feel the cozy embrace of the "front room" (what we in the 21st century call the "living room") with its original stone fireplace and antiques, inviting you to settle in and enjoy a long, pleasant conversation with your loved ones, read a good book, or watch a movie. The 55" smart TV has free TV shows and movies, or you can enter the credentials for your favorite streaming service. A DVD library and player is also available in the credenza below the TV.
Meander into the kitchen to create delicious meals, pop some popcorn, brew a cup of joe, or just skip the cooking and enjoy carryout at the kitchen table from your choice of hundreds of local restaurants. The decor will almost make you believe you've traveled back in time, but check out all the useful gadgets and appliances hidden away in the cupboards and drawers! It's a well equipped kitchen, with every pot and pan, plate, bowl, serving platter, and utensil you might need. A wooden high chair is available for babies and toddlers.
The two main bedrooms are furnished with queen sized log beds with the comfiest mattresses you can imagine. A common area in the back of the cabin has a twin sized antique bed with forest views. If there is a 6th guest, a cot is tucked away under the twin bed, ready for set-up, and a portable crib is available for little ones.
The bathroom has a roomy walk-in shower and plenty of space for toiletries. A clothes washer and dryer are on site for your use, and there is flex work space for professional or school work. High speed internet is accessible throughout the property.
Outside the front door you can rock on the porch as you enjoy the woodland in summer and mountain views in the winter, when the foliage is off the trees. On the built-in charcoal grill, you can grill up a masterpiece and dine al fresco on the deck (charcoal not provided). Later, relax in the warmth of the private hot tub under the open pavilion. Toast up some marshmallows over the fire in the outdoor fireplace on the side lawn, or enjoy a game of corn hole. Amble over to the game room and play shuffleboard, giant Connect 4, Skeeball, pub games, board games, and more! The hot tub and game room are not shared by other properties.
Greenwood Historic Cabin is committed to sustainability. We offer eco-friendly soaps and shampoo, use LED light bulbs and other energy-saving features, and are currently re-wilding a portion of the property to reduce mowing and protect and encourage wildlife.
There's a grocery store, two convenience stores, and a pizza/Italian food restaurant just half a mile from the cabin, so you needn't drive far if you need supplies or want a quick meal. A few miles further, there are many restaurants, as well as a Kroger and a Publix to choose from when you want to stock up the larder. The Welcome Book has a listing of nearby restaurants and attractions.
When you're ready to head out for local fun, a wide variety of amazing attractions in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville, are just minutes away. Some of the closest attractions are listed below this description.

My family and I loved staying in this century old cabin with lots of charm. The game room and hot tub were perfect for us to have some time to wind down after our busy days. Bill and Abby were the perfect hosts and very communicative. We would definitely stay here again!
Cabin was cozy and comfortable and hot tub was great after a day out exploring and shopping. Loved sitting on the porch and even had a warm night around the chiminea. Wonderful stay!
We loved this cabin and when we come back, it will be to stay here! It was close to society but also off enough where we felt like we were in the mountains. It was so cozy. We loved the game room and fire pit outside. Hot tub was very hot! They even provided a first kit, which came into use Great place for the price and had everything we could possibly need.
What a wonderful cabin! It is the best cabin we have stayed at in the Pigeon Forge area. It was perfect. The bed was comfy and my husband loved the hot tub. The game room really made this perfect for my kiddo too.
A beautiful cabin, just what I was looking for, a bit of old-world charm and comfort at the same time. We enjoyed it very much. The host was very attentive. I recommend it 100%.
Hot tub was fabulous. The cabin was perfect for us it was very home like. We will definitely return to this site. It's close to town where everything was. But honestly we just enjoyed the cabin the most
We loved our stay at this cabin! The hot tub, game room, comfort, views, and distance to fun locations were all amazing. We would definitely recommend and love to come back some day!
This spot is absolutely ideal. It’s secluded enough to feel peaceful, yet close enough to nearby spots for some exploration. The atmosphere and decor of the charming little cabin were spot on. After a full day of checking out the nearby towns, the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. I would stay again and bring the children.
This cabin is the perfect distance from the main drag without sacrificing the beautiful mountain views. It’s spacious and cozy and there were a lot of amenities provided that I was pleased with, especially in the kitchen. The value you get staying here is incredible.
Cozy home with the perfect location. Game room for family fun, hot tub for relaxing, and fire place on porch for warmth. Close to everything you could possibly want to do in the area.
Cabin was great. Close to downtown Pidgeon Forge but stil of the beaten trail. Close to many of the Smokey Mountain hiking trails. Great place to do vacation activities but also nice spot to relax in the evenings.
