Our Story: The Breathtaking Views Difference

We purchased our resort property six years ago with a clear vision: to completely redefine the Gatlinburg group travel and wedding experience.

The property previously operated under the name "Almost Heaven," functioning as an all-inclusive wedding venue where outside services were bundled and marked up. When we took over, we changed our name to Breathtaking Views Resort and completely disrupted the traditional business model to put control back in the hands of our guests.

We converted the original wedding pavilion into our spectacular, highly popular 10-bedroom flagship cabin. Instead of forcing guests into expensive, rigid packages, we only charge for lodging. This allows you to handpick your own caterers, photographers, and florists directly—saving you thousands of dollars by paying actual vendor costs.

Want a formal catered dinner? Or a casual pizza night by the deck? You have the complete freedom to design your your wedding your way. For larger groups, we also own additional cabins within short walking distance, allowing everyone to stay close while giving some guests a bit of extra privacy.

This cabin is located on a scenic mountain road with beautiful mountain views. It's about 16 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. It is located just minutes from the major attractions, shopping, and dining.

This cabin is located about 16 miles from downtown Gatlinburg with easy access to Pigeon Forge. Enjoy any of the several local wineries, or make it an adventurous vacation by taking advantage of all the outdoor activities the mountains have to offer from biking, hiking, tubing and rafting, to scenic driving, shopping, or visiting one of the location events, amusement parks and more!

If you decide to leave your mountain paradise you will find you are not far from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Hiking at Greenbriar, or all downtown Gatlinburg has to offer. You are also a short back road drive away from the heart of Pigeon Forge where you can enjoy Dollywood, Dolly's Stampede, or Beyond the Lens. So no matter what you are looking for in a vacation.

It is possible to book an Uber or Lyft but not guaranteed. You can also find taxis in the area.

Another easy and fun way to get out and see the city is by renting a scooter!
