Host Moises was incredible! Very responsive and quick to address any issues. He also provided a lot of helpful information for guests right when you walk into the cabin, which made settling in easy. The cabin itself is in a great location, although the view wasn’t quite what we expected. One downside during our stay was that the resort pool was closed, which was disappointing. The outdoor deck area had a significant amount of dust buildup, so we had to sweep and mop it ourselves to avoid tracking dirt inside and to comfortably use the space. The hot tub was a nice feature, but it wasn’t the cleanest. We had to regularly remove bugs from the water, and it took quite a while to heat up. While I understand that bugs are part of staying in the Smoky Mountains, I would recommend treating the property to help minimize them. During our last two nights, there were enough bugs indoors at night to make it difficult to get good rest.Property itself states you can sleep 8 people, I would probably agree however they would be uncomfortable. Pull out couch was super flimsy and linens/pillows were a bit old as well. We were a party of 7 people and found the property to be somewhat small compared to the photos/description. Overall, we had a decent stay, and with a few improvements, this could be a great experience.
