Nice location, nice pool table and good sized cabin. Needs better directions because of road names. The jetted tub has black specks coming out of it. No hot water in downstairs shower. Kitchen needs repairs.
The cabin was cute and just the right size for my family, the cleaning could of been better the was cobwebs both the showers and toilets was rusted out pretty bad dead bugs in the bathroom window, pool table has stains and the counter top stains jacuzzi tub nasty rustes, it was stains everywhere the was a smell for what we paid I was not happy. I called the next morning due to us arriving late and was on the phone letting them know what was wrong and was hung up on and never got a phone call back. I don't not recommend until it's been updated.
Close to town but needs major attention- will not stay again
The cabin has
Potentional, it is pretty and location is perfect. The upstairs tub/jetted tub is disgusting and needs to be removed. They must have iron pipes due to the amount of rust in the tub and in the drains. The couch is nasty, we put a sheet on it and you basically sit on springs. The directions were confusing, it said black bear way but it’s black bear lane- there is a difference
So out the correct road. I did not know here was no internet but that is my fault for not knowing that, but do not rely on Verizon , there is ZERO SERVICE- we had to ride to the convenience store to check emails. I would choose another company in the future to book,

Not so Happy
The cabin was extremely hard to find, because two of the road signs were removed. The cabin was outdated and had cobwebs and thick dust on all fixtures and decor. My daughter came to me during the middle of the night and said she felt bugs crawling on her and would not go back upstairs. There was no cell service and the cabin did not have WiFi. The place just seemed unkept and was not up to the standards of other cabins we have stayed at in the area.
Pictures did not add up to reality. The place had a smell to it. It also had cobwebs everywhere which was tolerable but found a wasp nest up in the beam above the bed. Bedding seemed sketchy so much so we went out and bought our own. The cabin was so bad we didn’t even stay our second night and settled with our loses. We will not be recommending this cabin to anyone.

Bed bugs
So apparently the cabin we stayed in had bed bugs. The cabin itself was dirty like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The first time I called to tell the office they were rude and told me there was nothing they could do and hung up. I called back spoke to someone else saying that they would send pest control out and they would called me back only if they found bed bugs in the cabin. A week goes by no call. So I call for the third time asking for a manager. I was told she was talking to a guest in the lobby and that she would give a call in a few minutes. It’s the next day I have yet to get a call. I’ve been trying to call but can’t get through. This is the worst customer I’ve ever experienced. We will NOT be staying with Timber Tops Cabin Rentals again.
