Chili BearĀ is a non-smoking two bedroom, two bathroom log sided cabin tucked away in the foothills of the Smokies. A cozy Smoky mountain getaway in Wears Valley made for relaxing and only minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge, Townsend, Cades Cove, and Gatlinburg. The cabin is easily accessed with paved roads almost right to the cabin door. The cabin has a maximum occupancy of four (4) people. This includes children. The upper level loft area features a beautiful queen size bed with a log headboard, an adjoining private bathroom complete with a shower, a lighted vanity with a large mirror, and a toilet. The full size washer and dryer are also located upstairs. The loft also has a 19 inch Smart TV to catch the morning news. The main level hosts an efficient galley style full kitchen, a dining area which can seat four comfortably, a well planned living room, the main level bedroom, and a full private bathroom. The living room sports hardwood wormy maple floors and a cathedral ceiling finished with tongue and groove pine. The living room also hosts a comfortable sofa, a recliner, and an additional side chair. While reclining, enjoy the gas fireplace, crafted from mountain stone or the large, flat screen Smart TV and DVD player. The master bedroom features a very unique cedar log king size bed, nightstand, and dresser along with a third Smart TV and a DVD player. The master bathroom features a tub/shower combination, a toilet, and a lighted vanity. Outside features two covered porches. The front porch holds three rocking chairs and a porch swing. Just off the front is the charcoal grill. The back holds a large, four person hot tub for relaxing. The cabin also features free wireless cable Internet. With Pigeon Forge shopping just down the road, the Great Smoky Mountains Nation Park right out your back door, and Gatlinburg adventure just minutes away, Chili Bear is the perfect spot for a trip for two or a vacation for the family. The parking area is limited to one (1) vehicle only.

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was such a wonderful time. The cabin isnt too far from town but far enough to not be in all the excitement of everything. It was very clean and well kept. We are definitely going to stay here again when we go back to gatlinburg! Highly recommend!

Great little getaway cabin

Perfect cabin with all the amenities you need! Very clean, enjoyed the hot tub and large jacuzzi tub, was perfect. My only complaint would be that a privacy screen or something needs to be added to the area by the hot tub, if someone from the neighboring cabin goes outside, they have a clear view of the hot tub.

Loved our 7-night stay here - Sept/Oct 2024. You can tell this cabin has been well maintained. Interior was spotless and contained everything you need for your home away from home. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed many nights in the hot tub on the back deck. Front porch has a large swing and several Adirondack rockers for relaxing. Located a few miles outside of Pigeon Forge, but worth the drive.

Very nice stay for 6 nights. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the location was what we were wantingā€¦ in the woods, quiet, and mostly private. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. The master bedroom was very comfortable as was the living room seating. We never used the loft sleeping area, so no opinion there. Overall a good stay and good choice.

Spring break 2024

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for the 3 of us. The highlights were the arcade games (for our 9 year old), the large beds, the hot tub and the amazing views. It was conveniently located so that attractions such as Dollywood, Titanic Museum, etc were only 20 mins away. The only downside that we were surprised by was the very narrow, winding roads up the mountain to the home's driveway that were a little difficult to navigate at night. By the 3rd night, we got the hang of it!

Extremely clean, every needed amenity in kitchen including blender, Keureg, waffle iron, tons of glassware, 2 sets pots/pans, all in great shape. Cozy living room with gas fireplace, hot tub on porch overlooks the woods, tons of nice linen/towels. Loft bedroom well furnished. Close to NP. Paved road to hillside cabin. Very quiet. Cozy, peaceful, relaxing.

The cabin was perfect for our family of four. Kitchen had all the amenities you could ask for. The hot tub was well maintained. The cabin was cozy and spacious enough for us to enjoy family time together and at the same time give us our privacy when needed. There was a full sized washer and dryer available in the cabin. The location was perfect. Just far enough from the chaos of Pigeon Forge without feeling like you had to drive forever to reach anything. The TVā€™s worked and had access to live tv streaming. Parking was adequate for 1 full sized vehicle (we had a van). Overall the cabin was perfect for our needs and we would consider renting it again.
