"Beautiful stopover in Malham"

"I travelled by train. Note that the hotel is nearer to Settle station than Giggleswick station. There is a decent size car park at the back and a few spaces in front, although I obviously didn't use them. Buses stop outside but I'm not sure how frequent. Breakfast is included in the price. I particularly enjoyed the full English; the smoked salmon and poached eggs were also very good. Dinner is available in the restaurant; a bit dearer than what I'd normally pay, but worth it for the quality. The single room was small but adequate with a bed and a dressing table/ desk. As well as a kettle in the room, they provide complimentary bottled water and fruit juice. Also fresh milk."

"Gorgeous stay. The staff were exceptional nothing was too much trouble. They are a real credit to the management. I attended to go to Yarndale in addition to celebrating my friends birthday. The restaurant was lovely with lots of choice including specials and with a prompt courteous service and a great ambiance. Will definitely be back when the log fire gets lit. "Beautiful yet very practical house in magical surroundings. Perfect for large groups of all ages. We were 19 persons age 2-70, all loved it. Nice nearby villages Giggleswick/Settle and direct access to footpaths to panoramic views. "
