Great studio, with secure parking

A studio in a residential building, in a quiet part of Sestriere. Secure underground parking with lock. Comfortable and well equipped.The concierge Elena, is especially lovely and helpful. She speaks perfect English (and French and Italian, of course!)

Da rifare volentieri.

Pulito, silenzioso, molto ben attrezzato, con tanto di lavastoviglie (non utilizzata, in un soggiorno breve, ma molto comoda in ogni caso). Bellissimi anche gli spazi esterni. Unica pecca il divano letto, cigolante e non stabilissimo. Un portasapone nella doccia inoltre avrebbe fatto comodo.

Wir haetten ein 7 Personen Apptmt gebucht aber ein 6 Personen bekommen. Die Bilder des Apptmnt lass sehen 1 Doppelbett 2 Einzelbetten 2 Etagenbetten und ein Schlafsofa aber unsere Apptmnt haette nur 1 Doppelbett 2 Etagenbetten und ein Schlafsofa. Nicht geeignet fur 7 Personen! Auch haetten wir 2 mal ein Nachricht gesendet aber niemals Antwort bekommen.

We truly enjoyed the Chalet Edelweiss. Our room (apartment) was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the hostess was wonderful and very helpful.

Ski accommodation close to the slopes

Studio apartment with balcony facing the mountain with a 10 minute walk to the nearest lifts. Basic apartment but clean and well equipped for a weeks stay. Private, secure parking at €10 a day. €2.5 per person per day cleaning fee but wasn’t clear what this was for. Nobody cleaned our apartment while we stayed. Elena the host was very friendly and helpful giving us information about lifts passes/ski hire/lessons etc. Always available by phone if not at reception. Free ski locker at ski hire place beside slopes and a small fee for boot warming locker if required. No need to walk back to apartment with gear which was great.

Really nice Chalet, but sadly full up !!!

Unfortunately when we arrived at the Chalet we were told that they were full and could not accommodate us, despite having booked a number of weeks beforehand. The staff were extremely apologetic and surprised that Hotel.com had not contacted us. The staff then took us to another hotel (Palace 2) and made sure we were happy. It is a shame we had to move as the Chalet looked very nice and the staff were great. Why there was no room is anyone's guess? Overall we had a great to trip to Setrierre. People, Food and the Skiing was great.

avuto in problema con la camera prenotata all arrivo a tarda sera, non conforme con quella effettivamente prenotata. il giorno seguente la sig.ra Elena ha risolto tutto nel migliore dei modi dandoci anche ulteriori agevolazioni non previste per il disguido. assolutamente fantastica e disponibile sicuramente tiene ai clienti e lo dimostra . torneremo appena possibile perché è assolutamente eccellente e la.cortesia e disponibilità dei titolari inappagagabile.

We booked a studio standard with balcony and mountain view that appeared to be a room in the basement without window, hence the lower total grade. We upgraded and got a very nice and big flat with a fantastic view over the mountains and morning sun for breakfast on the balcony. Close to the centre and not far from the ski lifts where you can leave your ski gears for a comfortable after ski.

Résidence parfaite pour un séjour au ski

séjour de 5 jours pour le ski. Appartement spacieux et confortable avec une très belle vue. Très bon accueil à l'arrivée. Attention : bien demander un appartement dans le bâtiment principal (2 appartements sont proposés en semi sous sol très près de la route avec une chambre borgne et bien évidemment moins sympathique).

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti durante le vacanze di Natale. L'alloggio per 4 persone era su due livelli e aveva una grande camera da letto matrimoniale con divano letto nel soggiorno. L'unica cosa negativa è stata l'ubicazione della camera da letto e del bagno in una zona seminterrata che causava un cattivo odore. Ci sono comunque molti altri alloggi senza questo problema. La signora della reception è stata molto gentile e disponibile. Il residence si trova vicino al centro paese ma non così comodo alle piste; vi è comunque una navetta gratuita con fermata vicino al residence. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene. Torneremo.

Pleasant surprise!!

We booked last minute trip to Sestriere and were pleasantly surprised at the room and cleanliness as well as the view and surrounding areas... Elena the manager was great. Helped us make dinner reservations and helped arrange local transportation. She went above and beyond anything we expected from a hotel manager.

Très bel appartement, spacieux et confortable.nous sommes restés qu une nuit. Dommage qu il y avait une "party" au même étage donc bruit toute la nuit, je pense que ça ne se produit pas souvent.
