"Very nice cabins in a beautiful mountain location. Room was spotless, the fire pit was a nice plus and the mini kitchen was well stocked with essential equipment, dishes and utensils."

Cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains; Hot Tub & Mountain views
10/10 Excellent
"This was our second time staying at The Cabin and it was every bit as wonderful as the first. The cabin itself is beautiful and really well kept. It has that upscale mountain feel while still being super comfortable for a family getaway. The views are absolutely stunning and make the whole place feel special. We came as a multigenerational group—my parents, my grown kids, my wife and I—and there was something for everyone. I had the chance to ride the Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway and Blue Ridge Parkway,on motorcycles with my sons, which was an unforgettable experience. We also enjoyed visiting some of the beautiful wineries, distilleries and breweries nearby. The options for hiking trails in the area are endless and amazing. We hiked for 2.5 miles and never seen another person, a truly relaxing and get away moment. The hosts were wonderful and shared great ideas for things to do in the area, including some of their favorite local places to eat, which made our trip even better.Between the gorgeous setting, beautiful cabin, and all there is to do in the area, it’s hard to beat. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!"

"The morning of check in when we were on our way already, we were called and apparently there was a "disaster" that caused us to be moved to another cabin. While the cabin we were moved to was nice, its frustrating that it wasn't the one we chose. The roads were narrow and some of the locals haul butt so it was a little scary. Then the cabin we were moved to, had a hard king bed that for whatever reason it had wheels on the bed so you sit on the bed and its liable to roll out from underwear you. Craziest thing ive ever seen. Overall, it was a nice stay because we went for peace and quiet and we did get plenty of that."

"The cabin was wonderful! It had plenty of room for our whole family. The kitchen had anything and everything we needed and the beds were comfy. Sarah was available for all my questions and made sure our vacation was enjoyable!"

6/10 Okay
"I booked this house for two nights as a destination to celebrate my wife's birthday. I don't think this property is adequately prepared for guests. Several of the rooms, for instance, were just barren of furniture. The TV in the main living room had been removed, leaving only a large hole in the drywall. The house had not been cleaned before we arrived, and my wife and I had to sweep the floors and remove cobwebs from tables. Two beds had dirty linens, and two other beds had no linens at all so we were required to run laundry as soon as we arrived. However, the washing machine on the main floor wasn't even hooked up to water! We had to try again with the washing machine upstairs. The refrigerator in the kitchen was also not hooked up to water, so nothing came out of the water dispenser and there was no ice being made. There were, however, rotten tacos in the freezer. Later, we found that the gas fire pit on the patio was empty of fuel so were unable to use it. Several showers did not have curtains, and one curtain didn't even reach the edge of the tub. The house could be a good vacation property if properly furnished and maintained. Too many oddities abound, however. We were required to haul our trash to a bin in a barn on the other side of the farm, uphill and a few hundred yards away (there was no road, so we couldn't even drive our trash to the bin and had to carry it by hand). I am out of allowable characters, so cannot list all the problems we encountered. "

"This place was great! I would highly recommended! I don’t have a single complaint. This house literally had EVERYTHING! The host was quick to respond. There was so much room and so much to do, my family talked about coming back again! We take a large family vacation every year and this has been the nicest place we have ever stayed! "

"Location was fantastic, it was easy to drive to all of the places we wanted to go. No narrow roads or steep hills to the house. Host was great, check in and out was simple. Everything was very clean and worked well. Our kids loved the game room. This is a top notch place to stay for the blue ridge area. "
