"It was a stop half way between the north and the south, we wanted to try somewhere new. It is completely basic, hence the price, but just off the motorway, easy to get to. Easy check-in, rooms clean. The shower wasn’t great but otherwise all good. The tv wasn’t plugged in for some reason and it took two of us to plug it in as it was very awkward. We had breakfast and it was decent, the lady working it was very nice. The actual village is absolutely stunning, very picturesque. All in all, a good stay"

"This hotel worked for us in that it was roughly halfway on our journey to the south of France. The staff were very friendly and helpful on check-in. The hotel itself is quite tired and needs some modernisation. Restaurant was not open the evening we were there but the Local town of Avallon had plenty of pleasant restaurants available. "
