Stunning cabin with hot tub, fire place, projector & magical surroundings

Breidablik is a MESMERIZING 70 square meter cabin that stands on a PRIVATE land in the south of ICELAND. The most perfect LOCATION for the GOLDEN CIRCLE. The cabin Breidablik is WELL EQUIPPED and beautifully furnished. Renovated and INTERIORLY DESIGNED by its owners. It can ACCOMMODATE up to 6 people, with TWO BEDROOMS on the lower floor and ONE BEDROOM on the upper floor. Both bedrooms on the lower floor have a 50“ SMART TV that is equipped with NETFLIX, 200x160cm BED and a CLOSET for clothes. The living room has a comfortable couch, a BEAUTIFUL FIREPLACE, PROJECTOR for watching movies with a DOLBY 5.1 HOME THEATER sound system. The SUPERB DINING ROOM seats up to TEN PEOPLE and has a magnificent fully EQUIPPED KITCHEN. The bathroom is small but comfortable and has a good WARM SHOWER. The entrance room has a WASHING MACHINE that is also a DRYER and has a stairs to the upper floor. The deck/patio is accessible from the entrance- and living room.

On the UPPER FLOOR are two 200x120cm beds and two 22“ TV's that are equipped with hundreds of MOVIES. There are also two COMFORTABLE BEAN BAGS.
The private land has a lot of TREES and MOUNTAINS can bee seen stretching out in the surroundings. The private deck/patio is HUGE and is quipped a BBQ GRILL, dining table for up to EIGHT PEOPLE and a cozy HOT TUB - Perfect for enjoying the RELAXING, STAR GAZING and catching the NORTHERN LIGHTS. The cabin has of course FREE PARKING SPACE for up to four cars if parked properly.

At Breidablik cabin, you'll experience staying in ICELANDIC NATURE at its finest no matter what the season.

Great stay
This cabin was in a great location! It was a great fit for the 5 of us. It was nice to come back from our day of exploring and have all of the comforts of home and more. Soaking in the our door hot tub at night was amazing!

Wonderful Seclusion
We spent three nights in the cabin and would have love to have spent more. Wonderful location for the Golden Circle and southern coast. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the hot tub was a wonderful way to end the day!

Very Enjoyable Stay
Very comfortable and well equipped cabin. Conveniently located for Golden Circle destinations and beyond. Very responsive host. Communication was excellent. We did not use the 3rd bedroom open loft area but it would be fun for children to have their own space with TVs and headphones. We really enjoyed our time here and would stay again at this property.

Property is modern, clean, and comfortable. It’s in a great location for a stay of a few days - it’s on the golden circle and close to the ring road for trips along the southern coast. Hosts are helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

Such an amazing time!
The cabin is wonderful and has most of the necessities from home. The only things missing where a dryer and mirror outside the bathroom, both of which can be easily done without. The cabin is a quick 10 minute drive outside Selfoss and is easily accessible to all the local attractions in southern Iceland. We were less than an hour drive from Reykjavik, Gullfoss, and Thingvellir National Park. Vik was only 1.5 hours away, so we even did an overnight there for a jeep and ice cave tour, black sand beaches, and the lava show. All are must sees! Erlingur is an amazing host who is very attentive and timely in his communications. I highly recommend him and his cabin to anyone looking to visit Iceland in the future. You will not be disappointed 😊

The cabin was the perfect location for us as it was basically in the middle of everything we wanted to see. The process of getting to the cabin was easier than I thought it would be and Erlingur was very helpful. Overall, the cabin was what we expected and when we arrived it was all very clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely Cabin for a Family Stay in the Mountains
We highly enjoyed our stay in these magical winter surroundings and this cabin. It was the perfect home base for exploring the Golden Circle and relaxing in the evenings. Our host was great and addressed any issues we had very promptly and satisfactorily. Would recommend the property and the host.

Perfect cabin for our trip!
Perfectly located cabin to explore the amazing sights of Iceland! Well kept and looked after, making us feel extremely relaxed in such a homely cabin! Erlingur was a great host, providing us with so much info to help us enjoy our time that bit more!

Nice Home in Quiet Setting
The home was very nice and clean and in a great location for seeing the sites on the Golden Circle. Had all the kitchen amenities you need, the hot tub was also a nice addition. I would have given 5 of 5 on everything, but the property does advertise a washer and a dryer but only has a washer. So plan accordingly, to either dry your stuff on the rack that is provided or pack more clothes. Also, we did have to walk to the property to get the remote to open the gate (not a long walk). My recommendation would be to give the owner a heads up 30 mins before arriving and then again when you arrive so they can be ready to open the gate for you. Same with checkout. Overall a good place to stay. I would definitely stay again!!
