Very quaint hotel in the heart of Segovia. Stayed here 24 years ago and still think it’s the best place to stay. The most wonderful breakfast!

We stayed overnight 10 min walk to Alcazar and little forget to Cathederal. Public parking nearby as they have limited parking space at hotel you have to arrange in advance . Buffet breakfast €10 euros .

The staff were excellent and the room is comfortable with nice amenities. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a bit noisy and my room was extremely hot, but the only windows open out onto a busy outdoor path so I was not comfortable having them open.

Lovely hotel and staff. (Shame the plumbing’s a bit noisy - but I still recommend it.). If you’re driving, pre-book the car park down the hill 19 Euros instead of 25!

We loved our stay. Worth upgrading to too with view. Was magnificent - overlooking g the valley and monastery. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Rooms simple, but a perfect spot for exploring Segovia Underground car park a real bonus if travelling by car. Highly recommend.

more of a 2 star hotel
First and foremost, the employees were very friendly and helpful. My review is based on the hotel itself not the employees. The walls are super thin, that you can hear every time someone flushes the toilet from above and next door. Throughout the night, there was a piercing sound that would come and go, I believe it was from the door but couldn't pinpoint it. The window panels didn't close so I had to put a chair against it to keep it closed. This is more of a 2 star hotel/motel, the quality is more similar to a Best Western. The place is right in-between of the Plaza Mayor and Alcazar, each about 10 minute walk. Another down side is there is no nearby cafe shops or restaurants, you have to walk to the Plaza Mayor. The rooms do not have a coffee or tea kettle.

The check in didn’t start well. I was travelling with my elderly mother (74) who was not able to find her ID card at check in and the receptionist was reluctant to give her a room. I was wondering what it would have happened if she had forgotten it at home. Would she have been denied a room to sleep? We were given rooms at the level 0, next to the road and very noisy every time there was a passing car. The floor was dirty, badly mopped and with dust or food crumbs. There were spider webs in walls and door frame.

Great town. Confusing hotel. Do not follow hotel desk guidance to parking!!! Ask them for the address of the garage and use your sat nav instead to save lots of trouble in the narrow streets… Also quite hard to find your way around the hotel. My Room 101 was on floor 4, for example!

Great location in a wonderful city
The hotel is located in a sweet spot between the aqueduct and the castle. The room was nice and the staff was great. The parking is on the opposite side of the hotel and kind of a pain to get to. I guess that is the price you have to pay when the city was built over 1000 years ago.

Beautiful building and comfortable rooms, though my bathroom was a bit small. Charming architecture. Though we paid for on premise parking, we were unable to find it. I think a flyer with the exact directions (map) from the main entrance to the parking would be helpful. Also, directions (map) from the parking to the main entrance would be very useful; one way and narrow streets are very difficult to navigate in this town. Since we were only there for one night, we are unable to provide more feedback.

This property is located within the old city (ciudad antiguo) and it is incredibly well situated to walk to all of the sites while being in a very tranquil setting. The pictures do not do the unique property justice, there are many very well executed details to this boutique setting that make it both charming and cozy while still sophisticated. The only aspect I would have appreciated improved was the quality of the mattress, but it is on par with all of the competition at this price point.

Not like the photos
Nice location, but the photos online led us to believe the hotel was nicer than it was. Things were a bit dingy, musty, and old. The bathroom was especially dated. We were in a section of the hotel that had no elevator and was very close to reception, so it was loud and added extra challenges having to haul luggage up and down stairs. Parking there is convenient and the breakfast buffet had lots of options.
