Thompson Cabin- Lake Front

Come stay at our newly remodeled family lake cabin located on Cain Lake. Extra love was put into this place as it has been passed down the generations. Open concept from the kitchen to the dining room into the living room overlooking the lake. Extra family room perfect for game night. Venture outside to the large deck surrounded by bliss. Take it all in down at the large dock with views of the rest of the lake. This cabin is not perfect but is dear to our heart so please treat it like your own.

Our sweet little cabin is painted bright white to keep you cheery even on the most dreary day. The decor and furniture are cozy but still give a nice airy feel. There are two doors in the bunk room that can be closed, so the kiddos can have fun and be noisy in the game room, while the adults enjoy a more quiet space in the living room and kitchen. Enjoy the beautiful lake view in the morning with a hot cup of coffee and all your troubles will fade away. This truly is the perfect family getaway.

The parking lot forward is for our guests. The buildings in the back are for our use.

There is a mount septic system on the back hill. Please keep off.

We live about 30 minutes away and would be happy to help with any questions or concerns.

There`s a small country store up the road less than a mile away.

Fishing season opens the last Saturday of April, and it doesn`t get any better than off the end of our dock. More info in the house manual on the buffet.

Cain Lake is an electric trolling motor-only lake. It`s great for kayaks, paddleboards, sailboards and just floating around on your favorite inner tube. There is also a public boat launch across the lake on Camp 2 Rd.
