We love returning to Sedona, and Zen Studio was a wonderful home! We made good use of the hot tub and liked that we could walk to Uptown locations. Highly recommend this place!
Location is perfect and the accommodations worked out perfectly. Host was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Only regret is I didn't stay longer in Sedona.
The place was small, but cozy and had all we needed. Fresh water, small fridge withe a freezer for ice. Good location, walking distance to the main part of Sedona. We enjoyed our short stay here.
Good location, soft bed, good shower. Fair warning to light sleepers- thin walls (can hear the Desert Retreat people very clearly).
Overall a good spot if you’re out all day explorIng.
Patio needed repair. Bed, bedding and towels should be updated. TV was not user friendly. The kitchen was adequate for our needs. Loved the hot tub, and the rustic setting of the unit. Loved access to the commercial district.
My wife and I wanted to get away for a romantic weekend to celebrate our third wedding anniversary. Zen retreat proved to be a perfect launching spot for a relaxing and fun filled adventure. We enjoyed the hot tub every morning which was a real bonus. The studio was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the location on the edge of town and the neighborhood was extremely quiet which was a bonus. Short walk to uptown Sedona was a plus as we were able to walk to dinner two nights without the hassle of fining parking. Overall experience was excellent and we would stay there again if we make it to Sedona in the future.

Would absolutely stay here again! Lodgings were comfortable with lovely views of the red rocks right outside the window. We were provided with everything needed to make fresh, french-press coffee each morning, which helped get our day started so much quicker. The hot tub was a wonderful place to relax at the end of a long day of hiking, with unblocked views of the stars above. Based on other reviews, we thought we may hear neighbors through the shared wall with Desert Retreat, but it was completely quiet throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this property for anyone staying in the area. It was a slightly further drive to popular hikes like the Subway and Bear Mountain on the West end of town, but the proximity to Uptown shops was unbeatable, and the drive to the West end was very easy.
Minus a little miscommunication about the location of the key when we checked in, our stay was flawless. Property was clean and set up as advertised. When we did have an issue finding the key, Skye responded within 30min. There were other guests staying in the adjacent property, they were very nice and respectful as well. Property is in premium location uptown; it is walking distance from a bunch of cute shops and restaurants - We went on a busy high tourist/holiday weekend and traffic was pretty nuts trying to get back uptown after exploring different areas of Sedona (took 30m to drive the final 2 miles during peak hours) but as long as we anticipated that it didn’t interfere with our ability to have a relaxing visit. Would stay there again and recommend to family/friends.
We loved how close we were to uptown Sedona. This studio is tucked into the trees and it’s so cute and quaint. Perfect for our needs. We will be recommending it to all our friends
Pros: LOCATION and hot tub. Cons: no plugs or outlets near bedside tables for convenient charging. Bring adapters. There is a large transition strip/board between bedroom and kitchen area that I tripped on constantly. Toilet seat was not attached. Need more towel hooks. All this being said, I’d stay here again for the easy walkability, views and hot tub. Just some minor updates would be super helpful.
A nice enough property in a great location but beware that there is next to no soundproofing. An adjacent property rented out by the same landlord can have loud guests, and you can hear their stay to the level of conversations and them using the toilet. We were kept up by their lively evening. Not necessarily the host’s fault but it may impact your stay.
Perfect place to stay, in residental part of town, had everything we needed including artesian water. Will be back!

This little gem of a property far exceeded my expectations. Star gazing from the hot tub was a Zen Studio highlight. Thank you for making my Sedona trip comfortable!
