Independent in Sedona

"The property had a lot of families with kids, which made it quite loud throughout our stay. On the first night, we had a serious issue in our room—the bathroom door locked automatically and we were unable to access it until maintenance arrived the next morning. When we called the front desk, they did not seem surprised and suggested using a paper clip to unlock the door, which did not work. We ultimately had to wait until maintenance arrived, which was both unsafe and extremely inconvenient. With the resort being so family-friendly, the door locking issue was especially concerning. We weren’t traveling with kids, but it was unsettling to think about how serious this could have been for families with young children. Additionally, the room was advertised as having a fireplace, but it did not work at all. The balcony was also much smaller than expected. The hotel itself was fine overall, but for the price, it didn’t feel like a great value. Overall, the experience did not match what was advertised."

"The laundry room was right next to my room. People were doing their laundry early in the morning and late at night. There was no respect for the posted hours. It was really noisy in my room when the laundry was going. I think that you should pull the plug on the laundry machines at 9:00pm and not plug them in again until 9:00 am....if you want to keep people happy in the room I was given. "

"The grounds at this resort were beautiful. Very quiet with a creek running by it. The unit we stayed in was very dated. Looks like no updates or deep cleaning for a long time. With that said surfaces were clean as were sheets and towels. We had a large unit with a large deck. For the price it was good and we were comfortable. We were happy we stayed there versus in town Sedona. "

"Clean room, staff let us check in early without asking. The pool and hot tubs were clean and very accessible. Pool was larger than expected but definitely not as large as pictured. One thing I really did not like was that there was a very pushy person at the front desk trying to sell us a time share. He was both trying to be friendly but also rude when we turned down the 'opportunity' to sit in a 1.5 hour presentation about the timeshare. The interaction felt very scammy. "

"The ULTIMATE Sedona retreat just so peaceful and clean and Modern the rooms are impeccable. The whole hotel feels like a spa. it’s also amazing that the spa amenities are included like the hot tub sauna and steam room. The pool is lovely too- small but great. staff go above and beyond- cruz at the front desk gave my son sparkling cider and allowed him to pick one item from the gift shop for his birthday. Would recommend 100% and we cannot wait to return."
