Great place to stay, historically designed architecture and interior furnishings. Would definitely stay at the El Portal again. Small inn that has guest access to the resort next door pool and spa which we took advantage of.

This place is amazing! The owner Steve is there every day and is so friendly but that’s not what made this place so great. The care that went into every detail of the rooms. It is like a portal in time but you feel right at home. So comfortable! They have thought of everything! There are only 12 rooms, a beautiful courtyard and a lobby with art work that you have to stop and admire! I also can’t forget to mention Fran, who is super friendly and very helpful. This is a must if you are going to be staying in Sedona.

We had such a lovely experience at this little inn. It is in a very convenient location, right next to the arts district. The room was incredible. We felt like we had a guest suite in someone’s home. The common area was welcoming with drinks and snacks. There is access to the next door hotel’s spa/pool. I wish this gem was in every location we travel to.
