About this property
Unsurpassed Views Indoors And Out On this 3-Acre Vineyard Estate
Welcome to our home in the heart and scintillating soul of Sonoma County. Our sunny 3-acre estate is perched on a rolling hill between Sebastopol and Occidental and is punctuated by majestic sweeping views of vineyards, orchards, redwoods and mountains. Enjoy the ever-changing beauty of our terraced perennial gardens, chardonnay vineyard and young olive grove. We invite you to share in the seasonal organic bounty of our fruit trees, assorted berries, vegetables, and herbs or meditate in our fragrant rose garden. Our home has been lovingly renovated and updated to take full advantage of the lush Sonoma lifestyle. Abundant large windows and glass doors bring the outdoors in and highlight the varied vistas from every room, from sunrise to sunset to starry nights.
Furnished with style and comfort, we invite you to sink into overstuffed couches and chairs, put your legs up on ottomans and reclaimed wood coffee tables, and dine on the antique farm table or the vintage teakwood set under the stars. With multiple, comfortable eating and seating options available indoors and out, your most difficult decision will be where to sip your cappuccino or pinot noir.
If you enjoy cooking, you will appreciate our large, updated kitchen with a new 5-burner Italian gas range, double ovens and high-end small appliances and cookware. The outdoor kitchen is conveniently located on the back deck for added cooking options.
We hope that you sleep long and well in the three thoughtfully designed and furnished bedrooms. The large primary features a queen bed, ensuite bath with double sinks, enormous window with rose garden views and sliding glass doors onto the terraced back garden patio. The second bedroom also features a queen bed and the third bedroom boasts an antique headboard and double bed. Both feature oversized windows and beautiful rose garden or back terraced garden views. All of the bedrooms have spacious closets, and are furnished with a writing desk and a dresser. They also feature quiet ceiling fans, blackout shades, pillow-top mattresses, down comforters, and quality linens for your added comfort.
The large living room with its cathedral ceiling is warmed by reclaimed wood beams, 2 plush couches, a cozy club chair, antique side tables, large rugs, and multiple personal lighting options designed for reading and relaxing. It features a 47-inch flat screen television with Direct TV and a Blu-Ray DVD system. Our cozy corner library contains diverse offerings for your browsing or reading pleasure as well as a local section where you find guidebooks and practical information to help you optimize your stay in the slice of heaven that is Sonoma County.
Nestled high in the back terraced garden, the hot tub provides a secluded, steamy oasis with exceptional views, including the distant Mayacamas Mountains. It is our favorite place to greet the day in the early morning as the mist rolls through the Green Valley and to enjoy sunsets that seem to last forever. Due to the presence of unobtrusive landscape lighting, it is also an ideal spot to count the stars.
Our home and gardens are smoke-free and chemical-free. The house has an open floor plan and wide doorways. There are only 2 low steps to enter the house from any door and the master bedroom has a large walk-in shower. We have tried to eliminate all barriers to your enjoyment of this magical space.

Beautiful property, well stocked indoor and outdoor kitchen for entertaining. Views are stunning. My grandsons enjoyed the strawberries and raspberries from the garden. Would love to stay there for a week or longer in future
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Susan's beautiful home and property. It is a lovely gem in the middle of wine country, with a comfortable, fully equipped house surrounded by extraordinary gardens and views. On the one hand, it feels like home; on the other, it is utterly exceptional. We definitely
hope to come back!
My family arrived for a wedding near by. Lovely house with a wonderful kitchen, outdoor area and a kitchen view that was incredible. You could spend some time and this house!
Susan's home in the vineyards is perfect for a weekend getaway to just relax and be among nature. It offers some great views of the vineyards and has a lovely garden and orchard along with a hot tub. It's situated close enough to a ton of wineries and apple farms as well as downtown sebastopol which has some good dining options along with a farmer's market. All is all a great place to be stay.
The mist flowing up the valley toward the house in the mornings was magical. The home was open and airy with great seating in each room. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was properly appointed. Great place to rest and relax after days of exploring the surrounding areas.
This house was a pleasure. Every room had a beautiful view of the surrounding vineyards and property. The back yard was flawless. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and more. I can’t say enough about the location. We will definitely stay there again!
My friends & I stayed here for a birthday getaway.
This house is so wonderful! It sits atop a small hill with expansive vineyard views.
The owners have lovingly & thoughtfully furnished & appointed the house. We wanted for nothing!
There is a beautiful yard, a deck for hanging out, a hot tub, a garden, and an orchard!
Hope to stay here again!
This home had so many great reviews and now we know why. This house has everything you want when planning a wine trip! It has the most amazing view of the vineyards from the kitchen as well as beautiful gardens in the back and side of the property. We loved being able to pick and eat all the fruits each day. Fern, the property manager was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely rent this home again.
This was our fourth year visiting this magical property. It never loses its luster. The views are spectacular and it is impossible not to feel relaxed surrounded by so much beauty. The house is kept spotless, the kitchen is well stocked, and there is plenty of room for our family of 5. There are so many things to do, kayaking on the river, wine tasting, apple fair, Occidental, the coast, hiking, I could go on, yet often times we just enjoy being at the house, grilling dinner, enjoying the perfect weather, and the beautiful garden. Till next year!
This beautiful home and property, coupled with attentive communication from both the owner and the property manager, created a perfect, stress-free vacation environment. The well-designed home is lovely, comfortable, and fully stocked with virtually all essentials, and many thoughtful extras as well. The grounds and exterior comforts could hardly be improved upon. The setting is utterly tranquil, perched above a beautiful pond, vineyards, and wispy, ocean-carried layers of morning fog. Hawks, quail, and wild turkeys are your most immediate neighbors. The location is perfect for exploration in a multitude of directions.Bring your camera. You won't need much else.Steve and Susie
From the moment we drove into the driveway, there was a feeling of peace that enveloped us. The vineyard in the front yard was more than we imagined it would be from the pictures. Magical in a way that can only be experienced firsthand. The home is lovingly cared for and appointed to meet one’s needs in all ways possible. The maze of gardens and vegetation in the backyard made the property feel as though there was something to see around every twist and turn. The stunning views from both the front and back of the house, in addition to the well-designed layout of the interior, made us realize how fortunate we were to have the privilege of enjoying such a unique property.
Thank you Susan for your trust in us, as it is not lost on us the treasure that is your exquisite vineyard home. We are also grateful to Fern, the property manager who was readily available to us during our stay!
We loved staying at this well equipped and comfortable home. The views were fabulous and it was a wonderful getaway. The host / property manager were very accommodating of our special needs.
The house is very comfortable, beautifully situated midst vineyards and the gardens are magnificent. All the communication was excellent and I highly recommend this location for wine touring and relaxation.
This property is serene and beautiful. Both the owner and the property manager, Fern, communicated very clearly and promptly. Friends of 50 years visited us and it was the perfect setting to relax, bask in the beauty and have the meaningful conversations we yearned for. The kitchen is absolutely fully equipped. The temperature controls worked perfectly. We could hear birds all day and all night. We ate plums, strawberries, blackberries from the orchard and garden. The guests were my twin sister and our life-long friend. We are all healthy 76-year olds. Despite our good health and good mobility, stairs are dangerous for people as they age. This house is all one-level. Our stay was magic.
I can’t say enough good things about this incredible home in Sebastopol. The first impression is driving up an idyllic driveway to a beautiful home overlooking estate vineyards. Those views continue inside the house from every room. From the well-stocked kitchen, to the cozy den, relaxing hot tub, and incredible antique decor…this property was outstanding. We stayed with our two kids (6 and 3), and they couldn’t get enough of the vibrant gardens. We picked raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and mint for breakfast each morning, and admired the parade of quail and hawks in the evenings. The location is perfect striking distance to downtown Sebastopol, (their farmers market is amazing), and only 30 mins from Healdsburg. We tried Handline for dinner, must do with kids! If you are heading to Sonoma, don’t miss this magical spot.
My wife and I spent a week at this property with our dear friends from Florida. From the review and reservation to the check out, everything was perfect. Susan, the owner, was easy and responsive to inquiries regarding the property, surrounding area and local fare as well as the property manager. The pictures here really do not do the house justice. This really is a truly unique property. You are located in the heart of the Sonoma wine country near town of Sebastopal. You are close enough for grocery store runs but you are far enough out that you truly feel you are in the wine COUNTRY. The house is tastefully decorated, clean and inviting. From the Wysteria covered entryway to the wonderful back yard, you get the feeling this is special. It's located in the middle of vineyards that source the Chardonnay that awaited us. There is an amazing outdoor kitchen as part of a large deck that is overlooked by a beautiful terraced back yard with natural landscaping. Evening time low level lighting leads you up to the hot tub. This was perfect for night time visiting with our friends under the California stars and sharing our days adventures. The house is well-stocked with everything you need to grill that perfect steak (or fajitas or wood-fired pizza). The dining room is large and inviting. There is ping pong, games and books. Bottom line, this is a fantastic venue for older couples like us or families looking to spend quality time together. RECOMMEND!
We loved this property....spacious and comfortable, with beautiful scenery in every direction...vines in front, terraced gardens in back. The weather cooperated and we ate Thanksgiving dinner outside on the patio. The house was immaculate and the kitchen supplied with everything you could think of. I am already thinking of a girls' trip there! The only improvement would be queen sized beds in all rooms. Otherwise, perfection!
