Vacationer or business traveler, you'll experience a wonderful, local side to Seattle at this light-filled home in Columbia City, beautifully renovated from top to bottom. After a day out and about, come home to a fantastic backyard with plentiful patio seating, a gas grill, and a firepit to cozy up to once the sun goes down.

This single-story home sits near the heart of Columbia City, a tightly knit neighborhood in southeast Seattle known for its historic homes and diverse restaurants that span the globe. The location is incredibly walkable, with an elementary school playground and park (across the street), shops and restaurants on Rainier Avenue (half a mile), the train station, the farmers market (both are three-quarters of a mile), and Genesee Park (one mile) close by.

Step inside to find an entirely remodeled interior, full of large windows and brand-new furnishings and appliances. Everything feels bright, easy, and uncluttered, from the living room with its smart TV to the adjacent kitchen, breakfast bar, and dining area.

After a day of remote work (with a desk in the primary bedroom and complimentary WiFi throughout the house), head out to the backyard for an afternoon nap in the hammock and a barbecue dinner on the covered patio. Other bonus features include a private washer/dryer and mini-split AC in the living room and main bedroom.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great location!
We needed a place to stay while moving out of our current house in Columbia City. We love this neighborhood. The house was great. We had four adults and were very comfortable. The yard is nice and we were really grateful to be able to have our dog with us. We used the BBQ in the backyard and it was nice to have parking. Very walkable neighborhood.

Great house
The house had plenty of space for us and our dog and the beds were comfortable, the view out the front window was lovely (fruit tree in bloom with flowers around it, plus the school across the street with children playing on the playground), and the backyard was wonderful. The kitchen could have used microwave proof and oven proof cookware, but we improvised.
