Garden Studio
We had a cozy and comfortable stay in this studio apartment. The king size bed was super comfortable! The kitchen was complete with everything you might need for a few meals in. The garden patio was huge and private. French doors opened onto it, making the whole place feel spacious and bright. We will be back!

Between Work Trips
This was the perfect place to stay in between two work trips in the PNW. My mom was able to come visit and we had a great time in the cute neighborhood and relaxing at the property. Would love to come back some day!

Seattle get away
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Greenlake studio. It was very clean and cozy, and the king size bed was very comfortable. It was close to restaurants and coffee shops, and easy to get to the highway. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Seattle.

Easy parking, easy walk to some of the best spots for coffee, a beer, groceries, food. Love this neighborhood. Cute place with lots of amenities without feeling cramped at all. Really good use of space. Huge king bed, nice bathroom and kitchenette. Super clean, felt safe. Would stay again.

I had a wonderful stay in this well-appointed apartment. The owner has cut no corners; the appliances are top-notch and the furnishings plentiful and comfortable. One small matter to consider: since the owner lives upstairs, one is likely to hear her moving about overhead, often early in the morning. This is understandable and unavoidable, although it can be helpful to bring earplugs just in case. The location is a good one, with Green Lake just to the east and the Greenwood/Phinney neighborhood just to the west. I would stay here again!

Great location and property
This is our second stay at this property with Melissa. It was just as we remembered from before. Great amenities including washer/dryer, coffee maker, and tv. The weather was colder this time so we needed to have the heat on. It kept us warm but was a little loud, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. A great location near Greenlake. it fit our needs perfectly!

The quiet family neighborhood was festively decorated for Halloween. Street parking was tight not terrible. Generous size unit, bed very comfortable, great shower & looks out to a nice patio. Noise level was ultra low. Would highly recommend.

Nice Place!
This was a wonderful little VRBO. It is beautifully setup and very comfortable. The private front yard was nice to have coffee in the morning or a beer in the evening. Melissa, the host, is top notch. There was a hiccup that could happen anywhere and she handled it nicely. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful, convenient studio!
We loved staying here- the owner thought of everything you could want or need! The bed was very comfortable, there’s plenty of space to rest and put your feet up, the kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean and neat. We used the studio as a “home base” for traveling around the state and it was nice to come back to this convenient and comfortable “home.”

It's hard to find a nice place with good beds, good water pressure, good WiFi, in a good neighborhood in Seattle. This place has all that! We drove and parked on the street and then took public transit (there's an app :) ) downtown to see the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Storm play. Melissa responded to messaged promptly and was super pleasant. Thumbs up!

Exactly what I needed!
I rented this property for my mom’s first visit to Seattle. It was easy to get to from my place in Wallingford, very clean and comfortable, and over all an excellent stay. Mom especially loved the updated bathroom. She’ll plan to stay again for her next visit!

Melissa’s place was a perfect location for us. It was easy for us to get to all of the places we wanted and it was a super cute neighborhood. The studio was also just the right size for us. We were able to relax at night, order take out and watch a show. We also loved access to the kitchen to be able to make breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay here again!

The VRBO property was immaculate, clean, and the ambiance was warm. Melissa's directions was simple and easy to follow. The amenities were just like as shown and listed on the site. Neighborhood was quiet, and grocery (PCC) was walking distance, and other nice coffee spots. And of course, the lake! Highly recommended!

The apartment was very well designed, clean and quite comfortable for our ten day stay. Street parking was always available steps away from the entrance to the house and the neighborhood felt quite safe. The entire apartment was especially well equipped, including a multitude of outlets for charging. Melissa responded quickly to a question during our stay.

You don’t find out she lives on the property until after you book it.
I wouldn’t have booked it knowing she stays on the property, and the stay wasn’t eligible for a refund. In the welcome message you find out she’s on the property, she may have guests coming in/out and you may see her watering her plants in the mornings. VRBO is all about not having the host stay with you and how they only have full vacation homes. Well not true for this place. It’s her garage she turned into a studio apartment. So depending on what time she feels like waking up, you’re going hear walking around and stomping above you. Parking also sucks, the street is really narrow and it gets packed in the evening. The place is cute, neighborhood is cute.

Anita, I’m sorry your stay was not ideal. The property is described as a studio apartment, which is a 100% upgraded Additional Dwelling Unit licensed and permitted through the city of Seattle with its own entrance completely separate from mine. The garage exists elsewhere in the home. The interesting part of your review is that I have been in Florida since October and no one was here. Parking has never been an issue. Maybe the next time you book, you will ask more questions of your hosts to ensure the accommodations are what you’re expecting. Melissa

Studio apartment was organized well and clean and comfortable. We cooked most meals and lacked nothing. We bring our own kitchen kit and knives because usually kitchens are not well-supplied. This one had everything we needed. The heat worked well but cut on and off, so we turned it off at night so it wouldn't wake us each time it did this. There's a bit of noise from overhead and side(?) apartment. Neighborhood is pleasant, quiet and we walked to grocery and other stores. Very easy to take the bus downtown. Bedding and bed was comfortable. Bathroom floor heated and towels were quality. Melissa was responsive and helpful. Thank you!

This place has EVERTYHING you need for your stay in Seattle! Pictures don't do it justice. So clean, had all the amenities you need! Perfect location to catch the busses right into downtown. We didn't rent a car cause it was easier to use public transportation and lyft a few times. We explored all over downtown Seattle! Thank to Melissa for a great stay we will be back!!

Great for solo senior traveler.
The cleanest place I’ve ever rented. Great location in nice residential area. Parking was always available in front of property. Felt very safe and secure hearing light footsteps above knowing I wasn’t alone. Very important for me is communication with host because I am a worrisome pest and Melissa was great to respond immediately or very quickly. I really appreciate that and can’t wait to be a repeat guest as I have family just a few blocks away from her place. Thanks!

We had already stayed in a few AitBnB & Vrbo's over the years but this one was probably the nicest of them all. Great location a short distance from Green Lake in a very pretty neighborhood initially built about 100 years ago, with charming houses, narrow streets and friendly people. - Great place and the amenities included everything one could wish for.
