"This hotel was recommended to us by a family member and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were cookies and coffee at check in. Our family enjoyed the pool, hot tub, firepits, game room and complimentary breakfast. The $15 smores kit available at reception was lovely and even included roasting sticks and a variety of chocolates (Andes mints, Reeses, and Hersheys). The kids found this very fun. Our suite was clean and spacious with a nice view of the river. The hotel is dog friendly and located a couple of blocks from the ocean. We would definitely stay here again."

"We loved our stay there, so I gave 5 stars! They are one of the best value stays in the area, and our dog enjoyed it as well (the dog fee is paid at check in, not through Expedia). The beach is close enough to walk to if you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk. FYI, there is no AC, but a fan was available in the room."

"We loved the pond behind our unit - we relaxed on the deck and watched the birds. The path around the pond was a nice ½ mile walk. We were only there for one night, exploring the coast on a quick trip from Hillsboro. The unit was clean and comfortable, perfect for the 4 of us."
