Whale watcher room: spotless, tiny room, HUGE dramatic view, kind curteous staff, easy checkin/out process (be there before 8pm for check-in!), in room coffee selection, mini fridge, faux fireplace with remote, small nicely decorated bathroom, and easy access to beach/pavillion.

Room average for a midrange inn, fireplace didn’t work, venue showing its age, limited parking, no extra amenities, breakfast, fruit, rolls not offered. Outdoor lighting poor in the back. Can hear plumbing noice from the room. Location to beach great. Not worth $350/night at offseason rates. If you are visiting Seaside do your homework and read reviews.

The staff was great. The smoke alarm in our original room was having issues and so they upgraded without us having to ask, the rooms were recently remodeled and was overall and excellent experience. Definitely will be staying here again.

Such a quaint hotel, very convenient to the beach (walk right down!) and to downtown. I highly recommend the Clock Tower suite; it was amazing, the windows to the beach were amazing and waking up to those views was the best!!
