"Low Wood Bay Resort is a fantastic hotel in an absolutely beautiful location, surrounded with great activity options and great options of its own. The hotel is very nicely finished with a historic Inn at its core surrounded by more expansive modern facilities. It houses 3 restaurant options from pub thru own restaurant to premium dining, with breakfast offered in the lovely W restaurant every day and dining options at the W pub (also with outside patio), and the premium Blue Smoke restaurant, opening with a great Afternoon Tea offering at 11.45 and finishing with great 'al a carte' up to closing time. Service at all was warm and friendly, if not always prompt or top-drawer. It has a spa, which is set up primarily for couples, adults with only the morning session open to families with kids under 16, which was a bit disappointing. The gem was the associated Low Wood Bay Watersports Centre and Marina directly across the road, with everything from stand-up paddle to yacht charters and including kayak, dingy and keelboat hire, all at reasonable prices. We highly recommend Low Wood Bay, and will stay there again ourselves for sure!"

"Friendly check in and staff, lovely large room with nice shower, a little dated but perfectly adequate for one night, duvet hard, parking available in car park opposite, small bar area with adjoining restaurant, (although we ate elsewhere), no breakfast available on site so we are elsewhere."

"Great Hotel - we'd originally booked 10 years ago but had to cancel due to a complicated pregnancy. It was lovely to have finally made it! Location was beautiful and the staff were supportive, kind, and friendly Room was clean, lovely bathroom Breakfast was the slight downfall - it was plentiful, do not get me wrong - just the quality was not to the level that you would expect from the Daffodil Would we return - YES"

"This may only be a three star hotel - however the staff make it five star, all staff are so helpful and genuinely want to assist you in all ways. The breakfast room staff are exceptional with their quality of service. The porridge at breakfast if consistently highest quality I have ever had in a hotel, top marks, all breakfast was good. Room although dated was kept very clean and well serviced. Parking was great always spaces available. Location excellent for us, close to town only a short walk away"
