"So charming and comfortable! This space was perfect for a mother-daughter weekend getaway. It would be great for a couple too--or even a couple plus one or two children.The kitchen space had everything we needed, though we didn't cook there. If our stay had been longer, we would have used more of the kitchen. It has a remarkable amount of countertop space for such a compact space. Great pantry and bedroom storage closets. Easy in and out and off-street parking. The bedroom is spacious and the living room is perfectly sized and cozy. The bathroom is small but adequately functional, and the owners have really paid attention to how to maximize function in that small space with hooks, shelves, well-placed everything. You can tell that they tested what works to determine where to put such little details. Our trip was quick--two days--and packed with activities that meant we spent very little time in the unit except for sleeping, but the approach and surroundings are just so very Lowcounty: Huge oaks hung with Spanish moss, a nearby waterway or lagoon of some type where all the water birds come in to roost in the evenings. I loved waking to the sound of the birds starting their morning. (My teen daughter wasn't a fan of those birds, but that's just how many teens are. Next time, she can bring earplugs and sleep in a little longer.) We really had everything we needed. We did make use of the park pass to visit Hunting Island, and that was such a nice addition to the rental package."

"Probably the best home we’ve rented! Check in was effortless no extra hoops to jump through after booking like so many other rentals we’ve stayed in, they just sent the code for the door and that was it! The house was not only very clean but didn’t have any weird smells or bother our allergies which so many beach houses do. The bedding and linens were high end as well as the decor of the home. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils, coffee pot, and even a glass water kettle and French press with fresh ground coffee. The bathrooms were very clean. The beds very comfortable and my children loved the toys and giant stuffed animals on the bed. Zero complaints and we would very much book again. Thank you for making our family weekend more comfortable! 10/10"

"Perfect place for a weekend with friends. The house was very clean and as described. The host was very good with communicating with us and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. "

"Beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast consisted of 3 choices, coffee, donuts, yogurt, 2 choices of fruit, toast. No walk to restaurants of any kind. Bathroom was clean. Overall it was average and no real complaints "

"The Mariners House is lovely and much larger than expected. The neighborhood is very quiet, within walking distance to the local Marina and a small restaurant. The home was clean and neat. The kitchen was fully stocked with dining equipment. The ALL parks pass had expired, and a new one was not issued. One upstairs bedroom closet was locked. There is one dresser, which is insufficient for two people. Both upstairs bedrooms have cribs, which makes the room crowded for guests with no children. Folding cribs could be considered. A rocking chair in one of the bedrooms needs repair or replacement."

"This house has everything you need and then some. My family and I had to come to Beaufort last minute for the funeral of a family member. I immediately searched for a rental for my family and came across this one. It has everything you need for a fun, family stay with plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. There was plenty to do for everyone from the arcade games, pool table and ping pong table, fire pit, indoor golf area, plenty of board games, kitchen with all you need to cook a great meal with the family, coffee maker plus a Keurig, and gas grill. I'm sure there are so many more amentities I'm failing to list because there are so many to offer. The host was amazing and quick to respond to all questions. My family hopes to return again and I highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed. "
