"The building and decor are dated and well worn. Beds were comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise given most hotel beds in Taiwan are hard and pillows are like rocks. Parking was across the street with a token to exit, but the barrier was open anyway."

I think it would have been more appropriate to take my information, since the reservation was under my name & paid by me. Room has extravagant & quirky decorations, but is very much in need of a deep cleaning! Lots of dust on the mirrors, tiles, and under the bed. "The room and the bathroom were spotless! The lobby is a nice size and has a microwave and toaster. It is a self check-in, self check-out hotel but there is always someone available to help. The woman who helped me spoke english and was extremely pleasant and helpful. I was able to store my luggage there after checkout, for 4 hours."

"I am always happy with the treatment I received from the staff, the room quality is great, and I love the breakfast. Location is awesome to with it being close to the train station and many other spots I like to visit. I have stayed with this hotel every time I come to Taichung and will continue to stay there on up coming trips."
