Cold Spring Plymouth Resort

"We were pleased with our accomodation as it was like being in a small vacation home. The kitchen was equipped for meal prep although we ate out all our meals. TV had plenty of channels and there was a small private rear deck. We might have used the pool but we had to drive to it from our property. There was a restaurant right next to us although we drove to nearby town for meals. The bath amenities like lotion and hair products were not provided so you need to bring your own. The property has A/C but the loft sleeping area was quite warm because cool air did not reach there."

"Great two night getaway. First night we dined at the onsite restaurant. Very good. Only a 15 minute ride to Meredith. Walter’s Basin was a quick walk for dinner on our second night. We took a pontoon cruise around Squam Lake. Definitely recommend this! Even better if you watch On Golden Pond before you take the cruise. Our room (The Winnipesaukee) was cozy but had ample storage space. There was a refrigerator and 24 hour coffee outside our room. Fresh baked cookies were put out in the afternoon. The stairs to the second floor were steep. Tread carefully. Ask for help with your luggage. Breakfast was delicious. If you like to swim there are no public beaches in Holderness. However, we found a great public beach in Ashland, about two miles from the inn. There were toilets/changing rooms, sandy beach, snack bar, lifeguards, parking and handicap access into the water. Free for seniors $5 if under 65. I highly recommended a stay."

"The place is amazing.The owners really have equipped the house with all the basic amenities and then so to make the trip enjoyable. No matter where you are in the mountains by water there will be bugs but they have done everything possible to minimize them with every bug prevention trick in the books. The hosts are always quick to reply and provide any information you may need. The views of the river are amazing and some of us went kayaking on the lake!Would definitely stay again in the future!"

"Gorgeous home. Location was perfect for our family with big and little kids. Shallow water for little to play dock w diving board for bigger kids. Stocked kitchen comfy beds. Owner stays close by to answer questions. Would stay again 100%. Pet friendly, was able to bring dog last minute he was very accommodating. Public beach up the road for extra parking our party had lots of cars. Our family created a lifetime good memories that week"
