"If you want an authentic old English Hotel then this is for you. It was really old with oak beams everywhere but still clean. Pub seems to be the Hub of the village so also a good vibe. The village is really really quiet"
"Beautiful property that makes visiting sissinghurst a breeze. Dinner options nearby are limited, but if you request the charcuterie plate it is perfect!"

"Absolutely beautiful location, house, pool and tennis court. A family weekend wedding. We used a recommended caterer for our wedding breakfast... James Drake...amazing food. The best wedding weekend. Looking forward to a return visit "
"We booked to stay as it was near to Wadhurst Castle where we were attending a wedding. The room was The Yew and Eye. Spotlessly clean and a lovely area out the front to sit and enjoy a drink. Very quirky but charming. The welcome at reception and talk through in the room was excellent. The young lady even took a few moments out of her very busy day to give us a brief history of the pub. The bar was busy but well staffed. Breakfast was ample , fresh and most welcome"
"This accommodation changed management and only does phone reservations. It is unable to access and honour previous bookings from this site. So when booking on this site you won’t be booking a place to stay. Luckily they had one room left for us. But there are little other accommodation options in the area, so be careful. "
"On our arrival the hotel receptionist couldn't do enough to try and help us get a taxi but unfortunately wasn't able to, however I would like to thank her for kindness and concern."
