"The apartment was perfect and glad to have a washer in the apartment. It was clean and felt just like home away from home. The only thing that has nothing to do with the owner was how the neighborhood changed in Germany. The spray painting that was on apartment buildings, the meth clinic that was a few doors down. I was raised in Germany as a little girl, and it is sad to see how the neighborhood changed and not improved."

"Pros: Neue Wohnung auf dem aktuellen Stand. Einrichtung wie neu. Küche war außerordentlich gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und bemühten sich, uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Gerne wieder!"

"Die Unterkunft eignet sich bestens für Familien mit Kindern. Diese haben die Spielmöglichkeiten vor dem Haus, am Bach und im Wald rege genutzt. Landau (Zoo, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, etc.) erreicht man in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto und ins Elsass ist es von hier auch nicht weit."

"Wir sind zu 6. angereist und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Auch die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nach dem freundlichen Empfang sind wir entspannt angekommen und waren im ersten Punkt etwas enttäuscht, dass ein Hobbyzimmer im extra kostenden Spa Bereich sich befand und wir "nur" den Kicker Tisch ins Wohnzimmer gestellt bekommen haben. "Für uns war die Ferienwohnung genau das richtige. Die getrennten Schlafzimmer ( Wohnzimmer) bieten genug Platz,so dass wir auch zu fünft in Ruhe schlafen und die Erwachsenen noch den Abend genießen konnten. Das Badezimmer ist super schick und modern und die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet,so dass wir alle Mahlzeiten gut zubereiten und essen konnten. Sehr praktisch waren Vorräte von Kaffee, Olivenöl etc. so dass wir nicht alles neu besorgen mussten. Die Spielsachen waren toll für unseren jüngsten....

"Amazing!! It’s right at the top of funicular train from town, so easy to get to town or back from town. Plenty of parking if you drive and amazing, truly amazing views!! The hiking is top notch down to the Castle, recommend the funicular back up. Rooms are gorgeous, clean, simple, with warm and cozy bedding and towels. Hit the sauna for a very warm warm up. "

"This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The rooms may not have the most modern amenities but they are comfortable and the view from my window was unbeatable. The service at the front desk was attentive and informative. Note that the hotel faces a very popular street and it can be loud with people until very late at night and again in the morning during trash pick up. The windows block most of the sound, but I prefer to have the fresh air with windows open. The one downside was the breakfast. Expedia said it would be free, but I was charged for it. Breakfast began at 8:00am, but when I went down at 8:30am the eggs were cold. The egs were also flavored like the bacon which is troubling when you are someone who does not eat pork. Go for the fantastic location and service. Don't go for the food. Americans should note that the hotel is not air conditioned. "

"Although we only stayed overnight, the hotel was both convenient and comfortable, with a professional and pleasant staff, excellent parking and an overall comfortable feel. The room looked brand new, as did the rest of the property. The location was wonderful, easily accessible by car and only a few tram stops from old town. We would definitely stay here again."
