"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"Comfortable apartment with everything you need, including a massage chair! The host family is very friendly and helpful. We also got to meet their sheep in the back of their property! A covered outdoor area is also provided with comfortable seating!For dinner we drove up into the hills to the Renchtalhuette! Very cozy place with great food! (and goats to pet)"

"Professionell, super Ausstattung, super Außenanlage, super Service. Wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt. Die Anlage muss man fast nicht verlassen, weil es dort so viel im Garten zu tun gibt. (Grill, Backhaus, Spielplatz, Sportplatz etc) Für Kinder eine perfekte Unterkunft! wir haben es sehr genossen"

"Der Weg zum Haus ist super vom Vermieter beschrieben und sehr abenteuerlich. Das Haus steht in absoluter Alleinlage am Waldrand und direkt vor dem Haus beginnen die Weinfelder. Traumhaft schön. Die kleine Auffahrt direkt zum Haus (ca. 50m) ist sehr steil. Vom Parkplatz vor dem Haus geht es ca. 50 Stufen durch den Garten zum Gebäude. Das Außengelände und der Garten könnten etwas mehr liebe vertragen. Oben gibt es eine wunderschöne überdachte Terrasse mit einem großartigen Blick auf Offenburg....

"We hadden een prima week in dit prachtige huis in Dornstetten. Van alle gemakken voorzien incl hot tub en sauna. Het was heel ruim voor ons gezin van 6 personen, alle keukenapparatuur was aanwezig, er was hout (betaling per mand) voor de houtkachel en hot tub. Badkamers waren schoon en netjes. Communicatie met eigenaar ging heel soepel, vragen werden direct beantwoord, en ze was heel aardig en efficiënt. Een topweek was het resultaat. "

This was my first experience with a self-service place and I didn’t read the instructions completely. Complicated by a bit of a language barrier. Otherwise, everything was perfect."

"Great Stay! If I could give a score above 10, I would do that. It is a very nice hotel located in a nice village which is managed with a friendly and supportive owner. We enjoyed staying 7 days there the whole family. Room is designed and decorated very nicely and the materials all over the building are luxurious. Still, the price is affordable. The location is great and the view of the balcony is amazing! Thank you for everything!"

"Wir waren 4 Tage in dem Haus, welches von den Eigentümern sehr gemütlich und wohnlich eingerichtet wurde. Alles funktionierte reibungslos von Ein- bis Auszug. Die Frau und ich waren schon in einigen dieser Nurdach-Häusern aber die Aufteilung und Einrichtung hier war echt top und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wenn es in diesem Feriendorf noch einen Brötchenservice gäbe wäre es perfekt aber so mussten wir zur Bäckerei mit dem Auto.Die sehr nette Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin rundete das ab...

"An elegant, spacious property ideally located at the edge of this lovely town. We regularly walked the short distance to the many restaurants and cafes and the younger members of our group enjoyed the nearby tennis courts and open air swimming pool. We also enjoyed many walks direct from the house in the hills behind us to discover marvellous views of the vally and town below."

"Our stay was three days, the staff were friendly and very helpful from the moment we arrived. The pool and spa areas were superb, and having Black Forest Gateaux with a pot of tea by the pool was not something we expected to be able to do - but very memorable. The breakfast was epic, it’s plain to see how very proud the chefs are, and this is reflected in the quality and range of breakfast items available. We had guest e bikes (at no charge) we explored the local forest area, this made the hills very easy to navigate - the bikes were of excellent quality. "

"A quiet, fairly residential location meant we weren't quite sure what to expect from this hotel. We were delighted. The room was the usual size but well appointed with a great powerful shower and unusually a heat lamp to help you stay cosy while getting dried! We ate in the restaurant and the food was enjoyable. Breakfast had a good selection of items too. We used the garage to park our cycles and the racks were easy to access and seemed secure. The town centre wasn't too far away and there was nice parkland nearby for walks."
