The NestleInn is an amazing retreat! Private, cozy, clean, and a good base for adventures around Franklin, Highlands and Cashiers. Our family has fallen in love with the mountain moss, the fire pit, the porches, the various inside amenities and thoughtful touches. It’s become our happy place. The host is wonderful.

This property was amazing. If you are visiting the Highlands or High Holly vineyards and want to be right outside of the crowds, this is the perfect location. I will definitely stay here again in the future. Linda was fantastic to work with and was there to answer any questions and meet any needs. This is a 6 out of 5 stars.

This home was absolutely perfect! Even more beautiful than the photos. Open floor plan was very comfortable and inviting. Kitchen had everything to cook full meals which we did several times. Our host was very friendly and responsive. We enjoyed chatting with her. The location was perfect and natural surroundings lovely. Loved the firepit and fireplace. We couldn’t have had a better time. We can’t wait to go back. We miss it already.

Wonderful time at the Nestle Inn

It took us no time at all to nestle in at the Nestle Inn. The house was beautiful and we felt very secluded and peaceful on the property. We have been vacationing in the area of my entire life so we love the location. The property owners were quick and responsive for the few questions we had and left us the most delicious cinnamon rolls that we ate for breakfast our first morning. Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation!

Sweet as the mountain air

We loved our time at Nestle Inn. It was perfect for our family of 5. We felt right at home in this beautiful cozy home. We appreciated the comfy beds and spacious bathrooms, sitting on the porch in the mornings and listening to the birds. The kitchen is well stocked and the cinnamon rolls Linda left for us for breakfast were delicious! What a great place to enjoy!

Restful Retreat

This home is perfectly situated near many quaint towns for shopping and dining, as well as hiking, falls, and adventurous zip lines and family ropes courses. The owners had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and even left gourmet cinnamon rolls for us to bake our first morning there. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Home in a Lovely Setting

We had a wonderful stay at the NestleInn. The house was beautiful, updated, well-stocked, and very clean. Close to activities and only about 20 minutes drive to Highlands. Easiest check in we’ve ever had at a rental home and excellent communication from the owner. Would absolutely stay there again.

Another wonderful visit!

What a fabulous mother daughter getaway for new years! This is our second visit to Nestle Inn and it is such a cozy home to relax in the mountains. Super easy access to Highlands Outpost for the kids and the cinnamon rolls were fabulous once again. Thank you Linda!

Outstanding in every way.

Linda has done a marvelous job with this cabin. It is exquisitely decorated, incredibly clean, and beautiful. Every detail was attended to--from creamer, coffee pods, and cinnamon rolls waiting, to plush cozy bedding, oversized towels, heated bathroom floors, several huge outdoor spaces with ample seating, games, outdoor fire pit, huge TVs, very updated/clean kitchen and bathrooms, and so on. Truly a spectacular space that is very well cared for. We will be back.

Family Highlands Vacation

Memories that will last a lifetime were made in this lovely home just outside of Highlands, NC. The owner was very easy to communicate with and provided us with everything we needed. There were even cinnamon rolls in the freezer for us to cook one morning. We enjoyed hiking, zip-lining, and LOTS of Monopoly! Property was very clean and accurately described. We can’t wait to come back!

Quiet Escape

This place was great! It was beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need, both inside and outside! It is located down a very quiet, private drive which instantly makes you feel on vacation. The beautiful fire pit was great for relaxing after our hike and walk around the Highlands. The beds were so comfortable - I think we got the best sleep we’ve had in months! Linda was so helpful and quick to respond. We can’t wait to go back!

High end finishes, fixtures and decor. Very nice and comfortable home. Nice bedding, excellent bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped. Easy drive to Highlands area. One of the best information / local guide packets I have ever seen in a rental property. So many things to do in the area. I recommend lunch at Wild Thymes Gourmet in Highlands. Glen Falls hike is beautiful.

Another great stay

This is my second stay at this property. As before everything was terrific. The photos highlight how incredible the home is. In person the home just feels comfortable. There are so many places to relax and spread out. I'll definitely be returning. And Linda is super communicative if anything arrises. If you are looking for a getaway in the woods and a place to relax this should be high on your list.

Love NestleInn

NestleInn is a wonderful property where every need is provided for. It is lovely and secluded for peace and rest, yet a short drive into Highlands and other area towns. It is by far the most comfortable house we've stayed in for an extended vacation. The decor is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and several good outdoor spaces to relax. Linda and Bill tend to every detail and communication was excellent. Anyone thinking of booking needs to do it. You will not be sorry!

Peaceful Mountain Getaway

This was our first time at NestleInn and we loved our time there! The house was easy to find (roads were not scary), not far from town, and had so many amenities. We loved our dinners on the patio and our snacks by the fire pit each evening as we awaited firefly sightings (a first for us Floridians). From the lovely bedding to the well stocked bathrooms, the attention to detail is impressive. The house is extremely well maintained and the thoughtfulness of Linda and Bill is evident throughout. We look forward to a return visit!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We could not have been more pleased with our experience with Linda & Bill and the Nestle Inn. The house was lovely, well appointed and comfy. We walked in and felt right at home. The kitchen had to be the best stocked kitchen in a vacation rental we've ever seen - no hunting for a bottle opener or kitchen scissors here! The front and back porches were exceptional with lots of cushy seating to enjoy the mountain air and views. The house was full of thoughtful extras like dish detergent, laundry soap, paper towels, board games, firepit and even a sweet treat in the freezer :) Located between Dillard, GA and Highlands, NC the location was a perfect base point for our adventures in hiking, boating and chasing waterfalls. Be sure to visit the Highlands Outpost and ride the Scaly Mountain Screamer - the favorite of our kiddos. We had a wonderful time and would come back and stay again in a heartbeat.
